Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Lulu is a really sweet dog and wants a home of her own. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. The fee includes adoption fee and transportation fee.

Story
In foster in Olympia, WA https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ Please apply to adopt. This works with all the dogs posted the above link to apply to adopt. ARIEL is a 33# Shepherd? type mix. Maybe she has any of these in her? Schipperke and/or Pomeranian and/or Shiba Inu and /or Australian Kelpie? She certainly looks like she does! We do not know! She is adorable and looks like a darker longer legged fox in many ways. She is for us, super quiet, will potty on the leash and YES potty trained!. However, she is shy at first, so hopefully a quieter home, that is suburban or rural. At this time we cannot YET see her with younger children (too noisy) or in an apartment in a noisy place because she is still shy. Maybe a quieter apartment NOT surrounded by a lot of noise could work for her? In time we are certain she will blossom and come into her own and act like any other dog. It just takes time, love, patience and appropriate socialization. DOB 1/1/24. That is an estimate. She was found as a stray in San Antonio, Texas. Texas has MILLIONS and MILLIONS of strays :( She is active and happy weighing only 33#. She needs loving and some training although she has never had any potty accident in her foster home in Olympia, WA! . She is smart and happy to meet people. She is used to being in the house and did great with the other dogs in rescue. . She also left the cats alone when she was in rescue in TX… but if they ran I’m sure she would chase. She seems happy to see all people, though. She's doing great with her leash training. Ariel likely could keep up with going on hikes and roughing it on a camping trip. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. Story
Lily is a four-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd. She doesn't look like a normal Aussie, with her white and speckled fur. She loves the people she knows and is able to quickly get to know strangers. She is active and loves to run around in our big yard. She enjoys sitting on laps and likes picking a hiding place, like under a table or bed, for her quiet time. We are rehoming her because she has developed a problem with other dogs, of which we have a few. She is trying to dominate the others. Worst of all, she has started attacking her sister. At first it was a couple isolated instances, where after it happened they got along again for awhile. But it has devolved into a situation where Lily will now directly attack her sister whenever she has the opportunity. We try to keep them separate but it only takes a momentary lapse for her to get to her. So she needs to go to a home with no other dogs or cats.

Story
Hi, my name is Kitara and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Jan 25, 2025. New people and places can be a little scary sometimes, but when I warm up you’ll see my personality bloom! I know that with you by my side, you’ll see my confidence grow every day. I would love to go through life with you as my person! If I could have the perfect day, it would involve a casual stroll with you, overseeing meal prep in the kitchen, and then curling up at your feet. I’m the perfect little shadow! I want to be where you are, do what you’re doing, and be the perfect companion.
