Hadwin a gentle guy who is lacking confidence. He is reserved and hesitant but his little tail wags when people approach him, and it's clear that he really wants to be loved and to give love. We are looking for a quiet, calm household without young children. Hadwin will need his space respected while he learns to trust. He lights up when he sees other dogs, so a home with a friendly canine friend will really help him thrive.

Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2090923##

  OTTO is a handsome Terrier mix boy that is so very handsome and a young 4 year old that is 40 pounds and ready for a  wonderful family that wants a fabulous dog!  This boy is just adorable and so happy and friendly and seems to be Schnauzer mix or Border Terrier that is so versatile in his personality.  You want a dog that is great with other dogs….that is Otto.   You want a dog that is wonderful with all types of people that he encounters…that is Otto.   Otto is a very sweet dog that has been taught the basics that add up to an A+ candidate for a family.  He is crate trained and is house trained as long as taken out regular.  He does pull some on a leash but we are working on that.  He loves his people and loves to cuddle. He really enjoys his yard so he needs a fenced in yard. He loves to run and play.  He knows how to sit. We has not been around young toddlers so we think that older children would be the best vet for him if there are children in the family setting.  He is a great dog and would enrich any family. We do want to be sure to say that he does shed.  If you are an active family, he is always up for an adventure. Low energy, snuggle bug is the best way to describe Paisley!  Miss Paisley can fit right into any kind of household, whether she's the only pup or part of a fun pack of dogs! She prefers mid to large size dogs like herself.  (No small dogs or cats for her).  She's a pro at crate and house training, and her enthusiasm for treats knows no bounds. While she enjoys leisurely exploring in a fenced yard, road trips aren't really her thing. So, if you're a homebody looking for the perfect companion, Miss Paisley is your girl! She's not overly energetic, but she has her spontaneous zoomie moments that will keep you entertained. She's hoping for a family without young kids, but older children are just her cup of tea. So, if you're ready for some sweet, silly, and snuggle-filled adventures, Miss Paisley is waiting to brighten up your life!
