Story
Check out that scruff! Reggie joined us from a rural SC shelter as a stray and never reclaimed. At first he was unfamiliar with a leash or stairs but that lasted all of one day. He learns quickly! He LOVES having a yard to frolic in or chase toys. He has been fostered with small & big dogs and would be great with an equally active playmate. He knows nothing about personal space so some dogs may take issue to his abundant energy and tendency to get in their face however he does take correction well. Due to not being neutered until recently or lack of proper socialization when he was younger, he has some left over hormones that make him mouthy. He will tug your jacket for example for attention. He is learning he is ignored until he sits and waits but isn't perfect yet. For this reason we wouldn't recommend children. We suspect he's never had rules or boundaries before but he is picking up good habits in his foster home. With time, consistency, and perhaps even help from a trainer he will make even more progress. He is great in a crate and is housebroken. Reggie is a 35 pound, 1 year old, Wirehaired Terrier mix fostered in Charlotte, NC. He is neutered & microchipped, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm negative and has been kept on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Reggie's adoption fee is $300. 🔗 If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and fill out an application. www.thefosterdoghouse.org

Story
contact foster at sarahdunlap27@gmail.com- Pippa has been the sweetest girl, and so far has been mostly pretty docile and laid back. She can be timid at first, but once she warms up to you and her environment, she is truly the sweetest girl!- She has been sleeping in a crate each night and does really well with it.- She seems pretty house broken, and will go potty each time you take her out. She had just 1 accident so far, but seemed like a fluke situation.- She has been very good with my large breed dog and likes to try and cuddle up with him. She is patient with our dog, and doesn’t seem reactive to other dogs in public.-She has started playing with some toys and chewing bones, both of which she seems to love.
