He does great with other dogs and cats and has lots of love to give a lucky family! The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog and family’s needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. Sarge is around a year old and a Boxer mix. He weighs about 45 lbs. he is fully housebroken and does great if he needs to be left alone. He can be shy so if you can be patient, he WILL be your best cuddle buddy friend. Starfish will include training classes with A Sound Beginning in his adoption fee so that he and his family are sure to get off on the right foot! The adoption fee of $200 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Meet Muffin! She is a deliciously sweet boxer mix girl who is looking for her FURever home. Muffin is around a year old and about 40 lbs. The first thing about Muffin that makes you fall for her is the way she looks at you and the color of her eyes. Muffin would be a great addition to any family that has someone that can be home with her most of the day or works from home. She can get anxious when not by her humans, but Starfish is committed to helping her new family with training support so that Muffin knows she is always safe. She is a wonderful dog. She has never had any accidents in the house. She is great on walks. She listens and learned how to sit almost immediately. She is very playful and aims to please.
