Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Good with: Dogs, kids Not tested with: Cats House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Some, when someone is at the door Hi, I'm Ripley! I was once a victim of neglect, but now I'm looking for a loving home where I can blossom. I'm a sweet, gentle girl who needs a confident doggy friend and a kind, patient human to help me come out of my shell and show me how wonderful life can be. I may be a little scared and shy at first, but I promise I'm worth the effort to get to know. When I feel safe and confident, I love freely, craving head scratches, playing with stuffed toys, and having zoomies in the backyard. My favorite thing about myself is how gentle and loving I ama total sweetheart! I have a medium energy level, and I'm both gentle and friendly. I enjoy short walks and zoomies, but I'm terrified of fireworks and car rides. Despite this, I love going on walks and being with my favorite humans. I'm still working on my training and don't know basic commands yet, but I'm housetrained and somewhat crate trained. On walks, I'm well-mannered, get along with other dogs, and handle distractions like bikes and skateboards pretty well. I need a quiet environment because I get nervous around new people. I need time to come out of my shell, but once I trust someone, I like them very much. I get along with all kids and dogs and am interested in cats, though I haven't had close contact with them. My daily routine includes morning and evening walks, and I have access to a yard, but I prefer staying indoors with the air conditioning when it's hot. I don't shed much and don't need grooming. I'd do well in an apartment, would be great for a first-time dog owner, and would love someone who works from home or is home often. I can't wait to find my forever home and share all my love! My foster guardian says: Ripley is gentle and loving - total sweetheart. Likes: Short walks, zoomies Dislikes: Fireworks, riding in the car My ideal home: Id prefer to have an owner who is home often, but Id be good in an apartment and for a first time dog owner. Story
Good with: Dogs Not tested with: Cats, kids House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Some Hey there I'm Gabby, a bubbly mixed-breed pup with a hop in my step and a heart of gold! With my soft speckled white and tan fur and soulful yellow/brown eyes I'm quite the charmer. Despite a shoulder injury in my past I've mastered a unique hop-like gait that sets me apart. When it comes to manners I've got them down pat - no accidents in the house and I prefer to savor my meals rather than scarf them down. Now let's talk about my absolute favorite thing: morning walks! There's nothing that gets me more excited than exploring the world outside. Walks dont have to be limited in time or distance as far as my foster mom can tell: I have the same energy and enthusiasm as any other dog. I'm friendly with other dogs but I can be a bit standoffish at first. I prefer smaller playgroups and may get overwhelmed in crowded dog parks. I love playing with toys and you might catch me zooming around the yard with one in my mouth. I also love a good game of fetch and will always bring the toy/ball back to you. I might even surprise you with how high I can jump! When it comes to affection, I'm all in! I adore cuddles and scratches. I'll also keep you company while you work from home while I lounge on the couch. Need to leave the house? I might whine a bit initially but with a distraction like a tasty treat I'm just fine and quiet down quickly. I'm great at "sit" "come" and "wait", but could use some training on walking on a leash. I am overly interested in squirrels and other small animals but my foster mom is helping me with leash manners and I'm making quick progress. If you're looking for a well-mannered affectionate companion who's always up for an adventure look no further than yours truly. I can't wait to hop into your heart and home! My foster guardian says: Gabby is the absolute sweetest pup and is the perfect mix of active outside but calm and affectionate inside. If youre looking for a sweet little mix breed look no further than Gabby! Likes: Toys, bones, scratches, sunbathing, morning walks, lounging on the couch My ideal home: I am pretty flexible and would be happy in a variety of homes! I've happily lived in the city and in the suburbs, with other dogs and without in the home thanks to my foster families. Story
My family adopted Ava in September 2018 from the Humane Rescue Alliance. We estimate her to be around 7 years old. She is a good family dog for families with kids no younger than 12 or 13. With a good walk schedule, she is very chill for the rest of the day. I usually take her on 2-3 30-45 minute walks and she lays down for almost the entire rest of the day. She is crate trained (and she loves her crate!) and does not go on furniture unless she is invited. She is very loyal, very loving, and loves to cuddle.

Story
I'm in a foster home! To adopt me, email my foster parent at torrelavelle@gmail.com.The Marvelous Mrs. Marla pranced out of the shelter into her foster home with a stuffed animal in her mouth, and since then she's been collecting more friends everywhere she goes, from the neighborhood kids who love to pet her to her foster family who keep adding to her nickname collection ("Mellow, magnificent, magnanimous Marla...") Although she arrived at the shelter as a hungry stray suffering from pressure sores, she has been making an amazing recovery and is more than ready for a proper, loving family to take her home. Marla is a gorgeous blonde/buff doggie with a charming tail wag and fantastic personality. Housetrained, fun, wiggly, and eager to please--she is so easy to fall in love with. She is friendly towards dogs and small children and is a fast learner, close to mastering such basic commands as "sit," "stay," and "down." Best of all, she is just as happy to cuddle next to you on the couch as she is to venture out for a walk or entertain herself with a toy or two. Ready for a social, happy doggie to join your household? She would love to go home with you soon.
