Story
Bailey is the sweetest, most loyal girl you'll meet. I adopted her about 3 years ago from a rescue and she's been by my side ever since. She loves to lay in the sun, walk on the beach and be wherever you are. She is a big cuddlebug and will be a couch potato with you on a lazy Sunday. She will gladly go on a long walk if that's the plan for the day as well! She adores treats and belly rubs and LOVES to play. She gets the zoomies! About a year after I adopted Bailey, I adopted another dog and it was going well for a while - until it wasn't. Ultimately, we have learned that Bailey really needs to be in a single animal home. She has gotten into a few tiffs with her brother resulting in some vet visits. Bailey is an amazing dog but I don't think this is the right environment for her anymore. She needs an adopter willing to continue strict training for her own benefit! I am hoping to find her the best new home with new doggy parents that can give her the sole attention she deserves!

Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Are you looking for a couch potato pal who is content to snuggle up under the covers with you? A gentle giant who loves fetch and cleans up after himself (really, he puts his toys away in his toybox on command!). Mett MARSHIE (his full name is Marshall, but his foster mom calls him Marshie or Marshmallow!)This lovey boy is overwhelmed with city activity and is looking for more of a quiet suburban or rural home. He loves baths and will run right to the bathtub and jump in when it`s time- his favorite part is getting dried off with a towel at the end. When his foster parents get out of bed for work in the morning, he hops out and jumps into bed with the other adult who lives in the home- what a sleepy head! Marshie`s foster parents report that he is very gentle with food, he takes treats lightly and while he has a big appetite, he doesn`t ever try to get into the bag of food and never even attempts to steal a bite of their food. Marshie loves his people and prefers to be your one and only sweetheart- so no other pets or kids, please. While he enjoys walks, he`s not a pup in need of lots of long distance treks, he`s much more content to play fetch in the yard and cuddle up for a snuggle than take a hike.Marshie has no issues being left home alone, but will be your shadow while you are home. If you`re looking for a constant companion- Marshie is your guy- his foster parents report that with Marshie in your home, you`ll never pee alone again! Marshalls adoption fee is sponsored by Thrive Pet Healthcare. If you`re interested in Marshie, reach out to schedule a meet and greet at info@lowellhumanesociety.org.

Story
Hello from Zira! She is a 3 year old spayed female pittie mix. Zira is sweet as can be, and equally as playful! She is happy being either a couch potato, or your walking buddy. She gets excited to see everybody, and that sometimes has her getting a little jumpy and gently mouthy. These are behaviors that with consistent training (asking for a sit before giving attention for example) should decrease. Overall, Zira is loved by all the staff & volunteers for her sweet nature and being happy to do anything! Her previous owner said she was friendly with their resident cat, so we believe she could live with another cat in her future home. They also said she tended to be friendly towards dogs she came across, so we think she could live with another dog as well. We think she could live with sturdy, dog-savvy older kids. Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays). If you are interested in this pet, please review our adoption process at www.lowellhumanesociety.org/adoption/#process so you`re prepared to adopt & stop by the shelter with the required information to take home this pet. Zira is currently in foster care so if you are falling in love with her, please reach out to staff to schedule a meet & greet.
