While I don`t drop sick beats or create mad collabs with Dre, I`m still pretty dope. I was found runnin` the mean streets of Lowell all by myself, but when the AC rolled up I jumped in his truck for an opportunity to see better days. The shelters not a bad place, but I think I`d much rather be in a home with a couch I can stretch out on. I like walks, but I can be kind of lazy sometimes and I would just prefer to chill with my people in the air conditioning. Let it be known- I get pretty excited about small animals. I want to chase squirrels, cats and all other small beings (small dogs are pretty interesting to me too). Needless to say- I`m looking to be your one and only pet. Say hello to Warren G! He is a 1 year old pittie mix, and boy is he ready to get out and go, go, go! He is very playful and energetic, and quite friendly as well. He`s looking for someone who is ready to go back to basics and give him the structure he needs, he will excel with someone willing to take him to basic obedience class and help him get past some puppy behaviors he was never trained out of. He was not well socialized or trained prior to coming to the shelter, so that mixed with his young age we do believe that with consistent training and getting lots of enrichment and stimulation, these habits will dissipate. He is just a silly young boy that needs a little more structure in his life. The effort you put into Warren G will pay off immensely, he is truly a wonderful dog!Warren G shows lots of interest in the other dogs, so we believe he could go home wo another dog that will be tolerant of puppy-like behaviors, and will give him appropriate corrections to help teach him how to appropriately behave. Hello from Zira! She is a 3 year old spayed female pittie mix. Zira is sweet as can be, and equally as playful! She is happy being either a couch potato, or your walking buddy. She gets excited to see everybody, and that sometimes has her getting a little jumpy and gently mouthy. These are behaviors that with consistent training (asking for a sit before giving attention for example) should decrease. Overall, Zira is loved by all the staff & volunteers for her sweet nature and being happy to do anything!Her previous owner said she was friendly with their resident cat, so we believe she could live with another cat in her future home. They also said she tended to be friendly towards dogs she came across, so we think she could live with another dog as well. No one can give me any good reason for why, but I ended up spending 5 years at a local animal control facility in MA before this rescue got me into a foster home. Good news, I am so grateful to live in a home now and know exactly what to do and how to act because I’ve been dreaming about this my whole life! I love to snuggle up with humans and take long naps. I also really love to play ball! I am on a foster home with two crazy 2 legged humans - I think you call them toddlers - they like to give me treats and even taught me how to play hide and seek with treats so that’s kinda fun! They like to snuggle too! As long as I get to have some fun each day, I’m a laid back gal in the home and a very easy keeper! Outside, I get a bit overstimulated by the world, especially small animals, dogs and even cars sometimes. I’m a work in progress there but a fenced yard would make it very easy for me to have fun outside without worrying too much! Some dogs are shy and like keeping to the background. Not Sunny! This guylikes being the star of your show. I mean, he is really sweet, adorableand cuddly. Good boy Sunny is both house trained and crate trained. Hewalks very well on a leash and tends to jump up on every bench he passes.We think that is because he gets some ear scratches every time he does it.Sunny could possibly live with a very well-matched dog friend.
