Story
This is Storm. I adopted him from a shelter when he was 5 months old and he just turned 1. He is a super affectionate dog who loves to cuddle up and snore. He is also really playful and is coming into his teenage crazy. He is content most days to lay around and chew his bone and he is always up for play time with our other dog. Storm is house trained and he goes into his crate at night sometimes as early as 6 and sleeps until 7 or later. His living situation right now is quite limited and he isn't allowed in most areas of the house and there always needs to be supervision when with our other dog. While I wouldn't say that he needs to be in a one dog household, I do think that he may thrive better if he has more acsess to the house and isn't always worrying about another dog. He is still working on training (so keeping up with it would be good) but he is a very smart dog who has a lot of potential!

Story
Nala is a very sweet girl! She loves long walks, treats, and playing with any soft squeaky toy she can find. She also enjoys cuddles and snoozing on the couch with her human friends! Nala loves mealtime but displays food aggression when other animals are present. For this reason Nala will need to be placed in a home where there are no other pets. She will need someone who has experience with dogs who have a past history of fear induced aggression (or willing to be patient with her!). She does have anxiety and is very wary of men. A female owner or a couple who will show her the patience that she needs is preferable. We avoid dog parks because she does not do well with smaller breeds. She is OK with some other bigger breeds but always use caution. Nala will thrive in an environment where there are no children and no other pets in the house. Nala would benefit greatly with someone to work on her training, also!

Santini has excellent manners and is house trained and crate trained. She would love to show off everything she has learned including sit, stay, down, and heel (for a treat of course)! Santini is happy to fit into her humans' routine and picks up quickly on new commands. She is very accommodating, walks well on a leash, and corrects/redirects easily. Santini loves to play, but is also happy to hang out with her people around the house.Santini would do best as the only dog in the house with an experienced dog owner who can maintain consistent boundaries and expectations to help her succeed and feel reassured. She is an athletic gal who loves to chase after balls and show off her signature ‘hopping prance’. She would love to have a fenced in yard or a local fenced in area so she can show off her moves! When she has finally expended all of her energy you can find her searching for the best sunbathing spot to take a snooze in. Santini is a sweet, gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be loved and make you laugh with her goofy antics. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Bounce is the girl for you! She has a fantastically low-key personality, is low-maintenance in terms of exercise (she's happy with a leisurely walk or spending time out in a yard rolling in the grass and enjoying the sun,) and mostly just wants to spend time with her humans, even if it means simply snoozing at their feet.Bounce is fully crate and house-trained, non-destructive, incredibly intelligent, and highly motivated by treats so you can bond with her over doggy snacks while teaching her some new tricks. Although Bounce may be a little shy around unfamiliar people or places, she looks to her humans for reassurance and enjoys weekend outings to Home Depot, where she can proudly display her exceptional leash-walking skills. Bounce thrives on the love she gets from her family and would be happiest as an only pet where she can receive ALL of the attention and affection. Whether you work from home or in an office, have a fenced yard, or live in a denser area, Bounce will adapt easily to her new home as long as you can provide Bounce an abundance of love and snuggles! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. She is medium-energy and content to relax after she’s enjoyed some time outside.Elsa plays great with other dogs, but she is still learning to read cues, so proper introductions will set her up for success. She has been fostered in homes with other dogs and has done well. Elsa is good with cats, though she does want to play with them, and would do well with dog-savvy kids. She loves everyone she meets, but sometimes she is a little wrecking ball (of love) so she may knock a small child over accidentally. She is used to being crated and is happy to hang out in her crate during the day if it has a comfy bed and while her human works in the same room . Elsa sleeps through the night in her crate (and even snores in a demure manner). Elsa is fully house trained (and will delay her morning bathroom break as long as possible so she can hit snooze a few extra times). Elsa is progressing well with her leash training and is a quick learner on tools that help her to not pull.Elsa enjoys life, is outgoing, and just wants to be everyone’s friend. This sweet girl is always happy to see you and greets you with a smile. Rosie’s favorite things are antlers, squeaky toys, and treats. She loves other dogs and is excited to have a lot of friends. She hasn’t been exposed to cats while in foster, but is not bothered by penned chickens. Rosie loves kids and would be a great fit in a home with dog-savvy kids. So far she has done well with kids ages 9 and 14, rolling over and showing her belly for them to scratch. She crates easily and quietly up to 6hrs during the day. She is fully house trained if taken out a few times a day and is still working on her leash skills since it’s new for her. This sweet girl is ready to find her forever home!
