Story
Hi my name is Lily, I'm about a year old and am a true puppy at heart. I like to play with my foster brother Theo and run free in the back yard. I like to play with my toys and make it look like a winter wonderland in the living room. I'm still learning as I'm young but I am food and love motivated. I am learning to not jump when I want pets but I love my humans so much it's hard. I sit and do know paw but I only give it when I want to. I am learning potty and for the most part go outside but do use potty pads. I find my crate to be my safe place and don't mind going into it while my people work who wouldn't mind extra treats lol. I sleep with my people at night and I am a great cuddled. If you work with me as I am still you feel and need training you won't be disappointed I am a great puppy who will give you lots of love in return. Hi

What Lacy lacks in leash manners, she makes up for in personality! This gorgeous girl LOVES to play and is quite energetic and athletic. She doesn't seem to have had a lot of socialization and training in her short life but she's a quick learner and eager to have a home and family of her own. 2-1/2 year old white, lovable female Pit Bull available. Wants to be hugged all the time. Scratch her belly and you will have a friend for life. Well trained, uses a regular collar and leash, no choker. Gets along well with the entire family, including another dog, a female Akita. Great guard dog—barks when either a car/truck/person is coming down the driveway. Friendly to visitors. Loves playing with toys of all types: hard and soft. She will vigorously chew soft toys fairly rapidly. Her toys need to be clearly defined, keeping other soft items away from her. Loves to play tug-of-war—will growl from happiness and excitement when someone plays tug-of-war with her.

Story
Larry our hugger! If you’re ever feeling lonely, and you need a shoulder to cry on, Larry is your boy. He loves to give hugs and will put his paws and little legs around your neck and his head right into your shoulder and just make everything better. Larry is a 1.5 year old handsome boy that is just all around perfect. Between his hugging and his love for cuddling, he is a doggy that you will never be able to get enough of. He has more love to give than most humans. This sweet boy was left in a makeshift chicken pen when his owners moved. There was no food, no water and minimal shelter. His owners left him and his brothers to fend for themselves. The neighbors would feed them as much as they could, but nothing was steady or guaranteed. They were so skinny when a good Samaritan got word of the situation and went out there to check on them. All 3 brothers were so ecstatic to see humans. Larry loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with other dogs or without them. He loves to play and run around the yard – he will share his toys even if the other dog(s) don’t ask him to. He is generous with how caring he is, even with other dogs. While he loves to play, he is a perfect balance of active and mellow. He is just as happy going on a walk or running around the yard as he is lying down inside, sunbathing or just relaxing anywhere that he deems worthy. Larry loves to go on car rides! He is house and crate trained. Larry is currently in boarding, but he had been in a foster home where he was loving the home life and being a house doggy. Larry would do great with children as he is just an all-around awesome boy. He is playful, but gentle, smart, loving, loyal, kind, and perfect. Larry is neutered, heart worm negative, current on rabies vaccine, bordatella vaccine, parvo/distemper vaccine, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormed and microchipped. He will be issued a health certificate from a veterinarian prior to transport that gives him a clean bill of health. Larry is located in Texas and available for transport once adopted – He is listed in locations the transports can go to. We do go over different transport options with all applicants. Story
Josie, JLo, JoJo and Bubba are 4 very lucky puppies. These puppies were found with their mom and 1 other sibling on a back country road in a very rural town. They were starving, covered in fleas and ticks, dehydrated and had been out in that area for goodness knows how long. When a good Samaritan saw them, she did her best to get all 5 pups and mom, but only 4 pups came to her. The volunteer has since gone out every day after to check, and it seems like mom and the 5th pup have disappeared despite leaving food and water out for them ☹ The volunteer was able to save 4 of the pups – And now, they are loving being inside animals and getting to run around in a yard, having access to food, water, shelter, and lots of love. Mom appeared to be a beautiful white lab/pyreneese/dogo/pointer mix that weighed approximately 60 lbs. The volunteer did not see a dad, so we are unsure of that breed. We think they could weigh between 45-65 lbs once full grown, depending. As of 8/5 they weigh about 25-28 lbs each. Josie, Jlo and Bubba have an extra toe on their back feet, which leads us to believe they are great pyreneese mix. Bubba has golden spotted specks on the bottom of his ears and JoJo has the black spots which also could be signs of pointer. We estimate they are around 4 months (so born around March 26, 2024) All 4 pups have their own quirks – They all are very sweet pups with a lot of personality. They all love the water and would make wonderful companions to go to lakes, oceans, rivers or just have a pool in the backyard to play in. They are all kenneled at night and are doing wonderful not using the restroom during the night. They get free roam of the house from 530am-10am and then 530pm-11pm. They are kenneled during the day and do wonderful during that time not having accidents. The foster does have cats, but her cats are not friendly and do not like dogs, so they haven't been that nice to the puppies. The foster does think if with dog friendly cat(s), they would do great with time and training. The foster wrote this about the puppies: Bubba – loves being outside. He is more shy than the others and kind of hangs back to himself, while the others play and run around. He is more of a watcher. He likes more quiet time and relaxing. Very food motivated. Gentle and kind natured. Loves other dogs and when he is around his siblings or personal dogs, will play like crazy. Lacks confidence so another dog in the home or somebody who is home more often and can help with confidence is a must. Bubba is an old, sweet soul. With some training, he will be a loyal best friend. Josie – She acts like a tough girl, but she is very much a follower, not a leader. She does stand up for herself when her siblings pick on her. Loves attention from my older dogs because they don’t pick on her. Likes digging holes to lay in and cool down since its been so hot. Would be over the moon to have a toy chest and she is obsessed with toys and playing with them. She can easily entertain herself. She is a bit shy but likes attention from humans and other dogs. She loves playing with other dogs and being around them, another one in the household would benefit her. She also likes to talk to you when she wants something, whether it’s dinner or to let you know she wants you to throw the ball. Jlo – One of the most social, outgoing and fun ones of the bunch. Super sweet and gentle. She thrives to please her humans and she is obsessed with getting lots of attention and love from her humans. She is playful with or without dogs around and is very entertaining. Her favorite spot to sleep is under the bed. If she can, she will climb on whatever she is able to. She loves to watch everything from a taller height. Jlo is the smartest one of the bunch and is a quick learner. JoJo – More of a leader than a follower. She is the first to try things and the first one to run up to you when they see you coming. She is as obsessed with human attention as JLo is, if not more. She loves to please her humans. Very adventurous – would do best in a home that likes to take their dog out to play often and go on adventures and explore. Very curious girl. Loves to play with her humans and other dogs. Gets along with all dogs. She will whine when you’re sitting there and not petting her to try and get your attention. Also, very smart and a quick learner. Would make a loyal companion. TO APPLY TO ADOPT: If you would like to adopt this doggy/puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, current on preventions, dewormed and microchipped.
