She's the epitome of a bouncy, happy Boxer, always ready to greet you with wagging tails and plenty of kisses. Despite her playful nature, Paisley is incredibly gentle and loves to crawl into your lap for some affectionate snuggles. Paisley came to Paws & Prayers after having a few litters of puppies. Initially, she was quite nervous around other dogs, likely due to her past experiences as a breeder. However, she has made remarkable progress in her foster home and now gets along well with the dogs she lives with. Despite this progress, Paisley would thrive best in a home where she can be the only dog, ensuring she gets all the love and attention she deserves. Paisley will eagerly chase after any birds, squirrels, or bunnies that cross her path. While she hasn't met house cats yet, we believe she may be inclined to chase them as well. Paisley previously lived with a 10-year-old child, so she has experience around children and would likely do well in a home with older kids. Paisley is both housebroken and crate trained. However, she is a bit of a Houdini when it comes to escaping crates, so a secure crate is a must for this clever girl. Paisley is looking for a loving forever home where she can continue to blossom and be the center of attention. My name is Chloe, but I live with 2 other senior ladies. So, we have been named the Golden Girls, and I'm Rose!! And yes, I can be a bit ditzy, but beyond lovable!! My mommy says so, so I know it's true. I love laying on the couch next to my person. Just being a part of a family is really nice. Would you like to be my family? Chloe is an older lady just looking to relax! She rides ok in the car, but she shakes possiblyl fear of being dumped again. But she does do well in the car. A fenced yard would be ideal for her -- she loves to be in the sun running! Or just being lazy and soaking up the rays. She would do fine with other dogs and with children. Dag came from a Southern Ohio pound where he was at risk of euthanasia despite being the resident "dog tester" at the time! In foster, Dag gets along well with female dogs, but can be selective with males. He is very calm and quiet for his age! Dag is open to meeting new people but can be slightly anxious in new settings. He's not a real barker but when he does you will hear the hound! He is sweet and laid back, enjoys affection and cuddling on the couch or bed. Dag also absolutely loves his toys! Luna does good with cats, good with smaller dogs and great with children. She knows high five, sit, likes to play catch, relax on the couch, and recieve treats and affection! Luna has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the $155 adoption fee.
