"Let's start a Ryot" Ryot is a sweet puppy. He loves all people and all dogs. He is crate trained, walks pretty good on a leash, already likes taking walks, car rides and is doing well with potty training! He plays with all the toys and loves sticks. He likes to be where you are and is excited for his forever family!! Petfinder is having difficulty displaying photos. Please go to www.adoptapitrescue.org All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter. Bio for Harlan: If you are looking for a distinguished gentleman,Harlan is your dog. He is a sweet senior boxer who was rescued from a high kill shelter in KY. Don’t let his grey face fool you though. He loves to go on long walks, and even enjoys running with his foster mom. He gets along well with other dogs and kids. He loves his humans, and prefers to sit on your lap. He’s very good in his crate but will also sleep all night in your bed if you let him. CJ is new to Paws & Prayers, but what we know so far is that she is a very happy and friendly gal. She loves to be around people and other dogs. She is almost always wagging her tail! CJ also enjoys walks. CJ has not met cats or kids. Her adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, and spay. Loris is a cute one-year old female (possible) Boxer/Hound mix who was brought to the HSOV on July 11, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Phillip Street in Belpre Ohio. Unfortunately Loris was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. This little sweetheart has a brown short smooth coat with a large patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and a beautiful face with hopeful trusting brown eyes, black shading on her slender muzzle, and large semi-erect ears. Loris has a happy, super-friendly outgoing personality and seems to love everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting her. Loris especially loved HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver who spent time with her outdoors later in the afternoon on July 11th while she posed for glamour pictures and also relaxed in the green grass. Loris is a pushover for attention and is full of playful puppy-like energy. She wiggles all over for attention and already has won the title of 'Best Butt Wiggler Currently In Our Shelter' (smile). Loris weighs 28 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Loris will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
