Story
Meet this incredible survivor! Found in Tipton County, this sweet boy was skin and bones, hairless, and overlooked by so many. We couldn’t leave him behind, and he’s come so far—from 17 to 36 lbs! With love, warmth, and plenty of food, his personality has blossomed. He adores other dogs, all people, his crate, and especially toys and sweaters. He’s house-trained, food-motivated, and ready for his forever home. Could it be with you? Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited or wants something (we now know that comes from the Boxer in her). Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs around 75 pounds. Gypsy has been with us for 3 years, and we don't know why she has not been adopted yet. She is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog we have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with older children. Gypsy is smart and might benefit from more obedience training from someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is a sweet dog. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy must be in the house as a loved family member. She must be walked on a leash and have a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. To emphasize...although Gypsy generally gets along with all dogs (she currently lives in a home with 14 other dogs both large and small and there are no problems), She either needs to be the only dog in the house or only paired with one other large male dog. Gypsy has been with the rescue for 3 years and a change will be scary. She needs an experienced adopter who is patient understanding, and willing to give her the time she needs to get comfortable in a new home. She is a great dog for a single person or couple. Any children should be over 10 years of age. Gypsy spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. She is now heartworm-free and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy is located in Texas but can be transported after she is adopted. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to several scheduled stops in Ohio - including but not limited to - Columbus, Cincinnati, and Akron OH Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl. Story
ABOUT ME… I am Sage, roughly a 1 year old Boxer-Mix, who just had a litter of 9 boys! I came to my foster home from being rescued by the dog warden. I have learned lots in a short amount of time, and I am very treat driven. I am a very happy, loving pup who listens well. I AM GREAT WITH… Giving cuddles and love. I take treats gently from you. I am potty trained and pee pad trained. I have been crated, but my Foster Mom trusts me to be out of the crate when she is gone or at work. I AM STILL WORKING ON… Sometimes I get curious about what's in the trash or on the counter, but I do listen if you tell me to get down. I am decent at walking on a leash, but I have not been tested with going on walks yet. Also, when I get excited to see you, I jump up to show you joy that you are home, but I do get down when told to. I REQUIRE… To be crated when eating with other animals around. I do growl when another animal gets close to my food, so my Mom has not taken any chances and crates me when I eat. I have not been around kids or cats at my foster home. **All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. Booster shots are included in the adoption fee and will be performed at our clinic, or the adopter can use their own vet at their expense. Adopters must reside within 2 hours of Columbus, OH. No transportation assistance is available.**
