Hi, I'm Ash. I've been through a lot, and I'm still searching for my happy ending. When I first came to FDHS, I was in rough shape. I was a stray with a painful hip injury and was pretty freaked out. The kind people at FDHS took care of me, fixed my hip, and showed me lots of love. I got adopted once and for a little while, I though I'd found my forever. But it turns out it wasn't the right fit. I don't really do tell with being left alone for long periods. It makes me feel scared and unsure- I need someone I know I can count on to come back for me. I prefer a quieter lifestyle and would love nothing more than a steady home where I can feel safe and loved. I'll be honest- I'm a little stubborn sometimes, but I'm also a really big softie who loves really hard. I'll be your shadow, your protector, and your biggest fan. I get along fine with other animals, but because of my hip, I need a more gentle playmate. I just want a person who won't give up on me. Someone who sees my past quirks and understands that I've been hurt before. If you can give me the love and stability I've been searching for, I promise to give you my whole heart in return.Will you be my forever?**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. My journey started in a place called Riverside Cemetery, where the very kind Dog Warden man found me and brought me here. I waited and waited, but no one came to take me home. That’s okay, though, because now I’m ready to find my forever family—and I just can't wait!I’m all puppy, which means I’m full of happy energy and love. I can’t help but smile and wiggle when I see new friends (and everyone’s a friend in my book). I’m still learning all the important dog stuff, so I’ll need a family with time and patience to teach me how to be the best boy ever. Laila is a 3yr old spayed female Boxer/ Pitbull mix. Laila came to us as part of a cruelty case. Laila was loved but never received vet care or proper food. She had a terrible flea infestation and was missing a lot of hair. She was also thin and needed wormed. She has now been fully vetted and has put on some much needed weight. For everything she has been through Laila is still a very kind and gentle girl. She eagerly wants to please you and should quickly learn new commands. She has some energy but also calms down nicely. She is good with her food and happily shares toys and treats. She has been through enough and now deserves to live the good life. She seems very well house trained. She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is already spayed. The adoption fee is $200. Charlee Girl is a 5yr old spayed female Boxer. She weighs 50 lbs. Charlee was surrendered to our local shelter when her owners could no longer care for her. Charlee is a very sweet and loving girl. She is craving attention and really wants to be a family member. She has medium energy and a wonderful temperament. She is going to be an amazing family companion. She has done well with other dogs and children. We haven't cat tested her. She was house trained at one time but has been in an indoor/outdoor kennel for 3 yrs. She may need a little refreshing. Luna loves to play fetch and give affection. She's a playful, energetic, happy dog who wants to be around people and once she gets to meet you be part of your family. Unfortunately we're too busy to give her the attention she needs and would be better suited for someone who works from home or has space and time to get her outside to exercise and play with her regularly (fenced yard may also be a good option). She looks like boxer (slight underbite), lab and pointer all came together. Loves playing with kids and other dogs. Put $30 as that is the cost of this listing. May reduce it significantly if we feel comfortable with placement (good home). Thank you!
