Aries was surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer keep him due to landlord issues. He is around a year old and weighs 53 pounds. Aries needed some time to adjust to shelter life but has come out of his shell and enjoys treats and going on walks! He is a shy at first with new people, but treats are the key to his heart! Aires knows sit but will need some work on other commands. He is a sweet guy that would love to have a second chance at finding a loving forever home! Aries has lived with children but may be too much for small children so an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff. Aries has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter. **Meet Spirit!** Spirit is a 1-year-old boxer mix with the most gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that will melt your heart. This sweet boy is very well-behaved and has quickly earned the nickname “Velcro dog” because he loves to stick close to his people. He’s pretty good on a leash and enjoys car rides, although he’s still a bit tentative and needs some encouragement to get in. Spirit is also working on his crate training; while he’s hesitant to enter, he does well once inside and doesn’t have accidents. Spirit is fantastic with children and gets along wonderfully with the 7-year-old in his current foster home. He’s still learning how to play with toys and prefers soft treats over hard ones. She is a kiss giving tail wagging puppy with every child and adult she meets! Her favorite thing to do is play and snuggle with siblings. Nothing will dim her beautiful little spunky spirit! She is great with other dogs, cats, and is good with kids. Rhaenys is crate trained and potty pad trained and doing great on her leashed walks! Arbor is from a breeder she has been in one home since 8wks of age. She is 3yrs old and about 55lbs. She will need an experienced adopter due to the fact she gets nervous/scared of new people. It will take an adopter with patience until she gets comfortable with her new situation. She currently lives with 2 female adult mastiffs, an elderly male boxer and a 3yr old female boxer(whom she is not getting along with). She is very ball and treat driven. She knows the commands sit, shake, down, off, kennel and drop it. She knows the command come but has selective hearing with that word. She is crate trained and left in one when owner leaves the house. She is allowed on furniture and sleeps in owners bed.
