Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hi, I'm Kolt! They say I am a mountain cur mix, about 50 lbs and 1 year old. I am a shy boy but with patience and time I will be in your lap giving you kisses in no time. My favorite things to do is snuggle up with my people or go play ball...oh I can't forget I love car rides especially if you let me stick my head out the window! I am still learning that the world isn't as scary as it seems but certain things still make me nervous, like loud noises from cars when walking by, large crowds of people, trash cans..but I am willing to learn that those things are not that scary, will you be willing to teach me? I also have some basic commands that I can do like...sit, shake, down, and my favorite high five..I would love to learn some more tricks..I am a very smart boy or so they say. I get told that I am not allowed to chase after cats..but they look so interesting that I just can't help myself, so it's probably best that there are no kitty's around at my new home. I enjoy having a buddy but I do prefer to take my time getting to know a new doggie friend. Will you be my new person to teach me the ropes? I am a very good boy, I promise...and I mean I am very handsome, just look at me! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Quirky and fun-loving, as all Boxers are, we really can't say what led young Vinnie to be found on the streets half-starved and battling mange, but they say it's not where you come from that matters. Now safely regaining weight and free of the parasites that plagued his skin, Vinnie is free to shine and on the hunt for a family of his own! While Vinnie does beautifully with cats, he has struggled to enjoy canine companionship (something we hope will change as he regains confidence, and recovers from his neuter) At roughly 10 months of age, Vinnie has a bright future ahead of him. While he has zero formal training we know of, he is naturally gentle on a leash and keeps a very tidy kennel; this is a strong indicator of being housetrained/easily trainable. If you're looking for a lifetime of fun and laughter, look no further than Vinnie! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $125 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
NO ADOPTION FEE. I just wish Marley can go to a loving and caring home. Marley was always a nervous puppy, for example, she was scared of loud noises. But she is very loving, and now she’s more confident. However, she’s still shy with humans. She prefers to not be petted by strangers but she’s gentle and docile about it. Once she learns to trust a human, she is ok with being petted and she’s loving and playful. She is very docile and playful with other dogs. She rarely barks, and is not aggressive at all. She is very well behaved inside and outside of the house, and fully potty trained. She can be protective of the home and her human. She has never bitten or show aggression towards another human, but she would bark at strangers coming close to the property. Overall, Marley is a very kind and sweet dog.
