Archie absolutely loves water except when it comes to bath time. That's not exactly what he had in mind. He's a 32-pound, still-growing youngster who has a lot of energy to burn. He likes running and tugging too. He's still working on his leash walking skills and wants to lead the way. If he runs away while off leash, he'll come back if you call him. He knows the no and down commands and is house trained. He spent his days behind a baby gate and sits at the door when he needs to go out. He doesn't have experience with young children but is friendly and playful with teenagers. He's friendly and playful with other dogs and wants to play with the ones he meets during walks and at the dog park. He was given up because his owners no longer had enough time for him. He loves sitting on a lap and being petted. Please offer this curious social butterfly the home, family, and attention he needs.Archie is currently in a foster home. “Addie” is a staffie mix with a sad backstory looking for her happy ending. This sweet girl is a lover of all humans, particularly kids! Because of her overly social nature she can be very forward in wanting to greet people and dogs alike on her walks (or the vet, or dog park, or anywhere) but she has not shown aggression or any intent to harm! She is highly food motivated and LOVES training (shake is her favorite!), but is also laid back and content to sun herself outside or lay at your feet for a movie night. She is very smart, so you must manage food access, as she will binge as much as you’ll allow! She does require a secure fence as she will use openings to go play with neighbor dogs if given the chance. Because of her size, we do not recommend her placed with small dogs. She can be pushy with insecure dogs, but is well socialized and enjoys the company of most, although another dog in the home is not a must for her. She does have allergies and maintaining daily medication for her is a must to avoid itching and ear infections. He loves dog parks and loves loves loves water swimming and baths! He drinks water from a cup from tub that’s his favorite and loves to sleep next to his humans bed at night. He has always been very calm and has never destroyed any furniture or anything inside our home.

A year ago we found a pregnant not microchipped dog on the street and she gave birth to 9 puppies, Red was one of the 9. We have been trying to find him a loving home and recently we moved to a split level home which has made having him and his sister harder because they are pretty big and goofy. Red loves belly rubs and is the goodest boy who loves to cuddle. He does this thing where he just flops on the floor and likes for you to rub his belly that is so cute and dopey. Everyone always stops us anytime we take him with us to tell him he is handsome.
