Story
Meet Negan – a 3-year-old Boxer with a big love for treats! Negan can be a little shy and nervous around new people, so he’s looking for a patient adopter who will give him time to feel comfortable. He’s food aggressive, so he’d do best in a home without kids or other pets.Negan would love a yard to roam, but he could also adapt to an apartment with the right owner. He’s feeling a bit stressed in the shelter, and we’re hoping to find someone who can give him a fresh start. Could you be the one to help Negan feel safe and loved?INTAKE DATE: 4/12/2025

He interacted well with another shelter dog, but the finder mentioned he didn`t like his dogs. It would be best to bring any potential doggy friends to meet Buccaneer. I am vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, had flea treatment applied, and sterilized. If you are interested in adopting me, come visit me at the shelter during visiting hours. I cannot wait to meet you!

Story
Add Frannie to Your Family! This sweetheart came into the shelter with a litter of puppies - can you imagine at her age? How exhausting! But, those days are behind her, and she can't wait to spend the rest of her life in the lap of luxury! Fran doesn't know a stranger. She assumes everyone is her best pal, and she loves to meet new friends. She is a sweet girl with people but she's not a fan of other dogs at all. She'd rather share all her love with you. Fran loves soft places and playing with toys. She's very curious and listens well, and in spite of her frosty little face, she doesn't act her age at all. She's loving life outside of the shelter, and she would love to find a family who will spoil her rotten. ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Waffles loves people. She wants nothing more than to spend the day hanging out with her family. She is a leader and gets along with dogs who will follow her. She is a medium to low energy dog but does love to chase cats so a home without cats would be ideal. She is a very sweet girl with energy to play but will be your couch potato after a good play session. Angel is a sweet and snuggly girl who loves nothing more than curling up in her bed after a fun day. She’s a bundle of energy when it’s time to play, especially when she’s doing zoomies in the play yard or chasing after her favorite squeaky toys. Angel has a bit of a selective taste when it comes to her canine friends, so she would thrive best in a single-dog household where she can be the center of attention. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your days with joy and your evenings with cuddles, Angel is the perfect match for you! She is completely housetrained, and a professional sunbather!Come meet Angel and let her win your heart with her loving personality and playful antics.
