Story
Sevyn takes her job of being fetch ball security very seriously:)  If you are wanting a very cute, furever, professional fetcher Sevyn is your girl! She is a great friend for her foster's 4 year old son and personal animals. Sevyn is young and still has very playful energy but nothing overbearing or that can’t be redirected easily. She will do good in a house with other younger dogs or will also be okay as an only dog. She should go to a home with no cats. She is fully potty trained and knows basic commands!  Sounds like a dream dog to me!     https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application. ##1721610##

I'm Jerry, a young, sweet, mellow, and gentle dog. I hail from Mexico, where I was quite the sombrero thief! You see, I had a peculiar habit of swiping sombreros from unsuspecting tourists. It was all fun and games until I stole a sombrero from a burly mariachi band member. He chased me all the way to the border, where a kind-hearted border patrol agent found me. Now, I'm here at the shelter, leaving my sombrero-stealing days behind. I'm a friendly chap, always ready for a cuddle and a play. I promise, no more sombrero stealing, just endless love and loyalty. Adopt me, and let's make some new memories together!April 15, 2025, 8:26 am

Story
Meet Dallas! Dallas is a spirited and affectionate American Pitbull Terrier residing in Dixon, IL. His zest for life rivals that of a playful puppy, making him a delightful companion. Despite his exuberance, Dallas grapples with some anxiety, which can be managed with a loving and patient home. Although Dallas hasn't had formal obedience training, he is proficient in essential commands such as sit, down, paw, up, high five, leave it, enough, and drop it. His intelligence and willingness to learn shine through these commands, and he is eager to please his humans. Dallas needs a home without other small animals, especially cats, due to a past incident where he and another dog harmed a cat. However, Dallas interacts well with other dogs and can be around them. A family or individual dedicated to understanding and managing complex canine behaviors would be ideal. Dallas is friendly to strangers and demonstrates resilience when left alone for short periods. However, he may experience anxiety during vet visits or car rides. Approaching these situations with patience and understanding will help alleviate his fears. Dallas weighs around 90 pounds, is up to date on his vaccinations, and has been neutered. To ensure a smooth transition, we offer a free consultation with a canine behaviorist to help Dallas and his new family start off on the right paw. If you are considering welcoming this lovable companion into your home, please direct inquiries to adopt@joyfulpets.com for more information! While this profile provides insight into Dallas's personality, the true depth of his character can only be discovered through personal interaction. Come meet Dallas and experience the joy he can bring to your life!
