Hi everyone! My name is Tucker and I’m a brindle beauty. I’m looking for my furever family, so if you’re looking for an active family dog, keep reading! I’m almost a year old and my energy level shows it! Do you like to go hikes and swim in lakes?? Or even daily walks and an intense game of fetch—I’m your boy! As long as there’s toys, I’m happy. If there’s water—I’m even happier! Take a look at my DNA results too, no wonder I’m so cute! I’m good with other dogs, they’re fun to play with…I haven’t met any cats, but that can be arranged. Kids are great too—just remember I’m #60 of energy and I might accidentally knock the littles ones down. Otherwise I’m ready to go to my new home, I’m neutered, fully vaccinated, potty trained and kennel trained. All I’m waiting for is a family and a couch to cuddle up on!! Apply for me today!! Adoption fee:$250 https://www.cognitoforms.com/TinyPawsSmallDogRescue1/AdoptionApplication

Story
𝐉𝐔𝐃𝐄 is available for adoption and is looking for his forever family! Hi my name is 𝐉𝐔𝐃𝐄 👋 Life has not always been easy for me, but I am a happy and optimistic guy and feel like life is on the upswing for me. I was found as a stray wandering a dirt road by myself in rural Georgia and was brought to the local animal shelter. I was severely underweight and malnourished. The nice people at the shelter fed me and I saw their veterinarian and they got me on the right track to gaining weight and feeling better. I gained 5 lbs in a few days, but I became mentally shut down in the shelter and I was broken. Since coming to Wisconsin and living in a foster home for a short time, I am a completely different dog than what I was in the shelter. I am happy, playful, and love affection, and of course treats!! Lots of boxer personality! Since I was starving for a part of my life, I was a little food aggressive at the shelter and for the first few days in my foster home, but have since gotten over it. I am fostered with 4 other dogs and 2 cats and have not had any issues with the food stuff. I am learning that I will always be fed and don't have to worry about where my next meal will come from. I am getting the hang of the potty training thing, am great in the crate during the day and at night, I am almost off leash in the back yard. I know sit and am working on down and stay. I am working on my leash manners, but don't pull that much. I have never had anyone put effort into training or caring for me before, so I am learning lots about how to behave. I don't jump, I am well behaved in the house, catching on to the potty training thing, and and am quiet in my crate at night and when I am home alone. I love playing with my foster dog siblings and am fine with the cats. Every day my foster parents are amazed at the dog I am becoming! All I needed was someone to care and put a little TLC into me and I will be the best dog for my people! I am a super sweet boy and am worth it! Meet Peaches (formerly known as Gumball) Peaches was found as a stray in Georgia and ended up at the kill shelter for a short time. She was luckily brought to Cedarburg, Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on 10/26/24 and has been in a foster home since then. She is a super sweet and energetic little lady! She is smart and knows how to sit and is very willing to learn more. She loves her foster dog siblings and likes to play and snuggle with them. She is also super sweet with her humans and likes to just follow you around or snuggle on the couch. She would be a good adventure dog for someone who likes hiking or camping. She is a petite lady at only 35 lbs and fits perfectly for car rides or taking naps on the couch. She was recently adopted and was chasing the cats in the house so it did not work out. From now on we will only consider cat free homes for her unfortunately! Thank you for considering adopting from Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. Story
Rosemary (Rosie) has a heart bigger than her head – an impressive feat for a blocky-headed dog. She leans her whole body into cuddles and will bring her toys right to your hand, wiggling in excitement to play with you. She can also read your energy and knows when to self-entertain if you’re not in the mood to play. She is moderate energy – she loves to run and play, but also tires out quickly, so no need to worry about multiple-hour walks. As long as she can get her energy out, Rosie would likely be fine with kids who are old enough to respect her boundaries and not get knocked over by zoomies. She is fully potty trained, and tolerates her crate but is left free-roaming at her foster home with no issues. Despite being a sweet and loving dog, the world can be a scary place for Rosie – full of sudden movements and unfamiliar places. People are her anchor – from friendly strangers she happily greets at a bar to the full trust she builds with her humans, everything seems a little bit better when she has people to show her she’s safe. The biggest part of keeping Rosie safe is regulating her interactions with other dogs. She has had several negative altercations with dogs in the past, and her continuing fear of dogs manifests itself as reactivity. She is muzzle trained for her own safety, and needs someone who can handle how hard a 50lb dog can pull on walks and help her keep her distance from other dogs who may be out. Because of this fear, Rosie would be easiest as an only pet. However, she has happily lived with another dog in the past, and with lots of time, commitment, and patience, she could potentially be integrated with another dog in the future. The biggest factor would be humans who respect and enforce her boundaries and are committed to setting her up for success. Rosie has not been tested with cats or other smaller animals, but would likely have similar needs – slow integration, trust that her boundaries will be respected, and the ability for both her and the other animal to get space from each other if needed. Rosie has a lot of love to give, and is ready to build her foundation with her forever home. Could that be you?

Story
Aggie is looking for a super special forever home for her super special self! Her perfect home would include: -Slow, leisurely strolls (no long distance hikes here!) -Her being your only dog, and preferably no cats -Comfy bed -Older kids would be okay -Lots of love and patience And one more thing, finding someone who has no issue loving a BLIND dog!! She has adjusted very well to being blind and doesn't let it slow her down. Being blind does come with some differences compared to owning a fully sighted dog: -lots of noise can overwhelm her -she doesn't enjoy dog on dog interactions so these need to be avoided (meaning, she doesn't want to go to a bunch of dog-friendly places and socialize) -you have to talk alot to her and make silly noises so she knows where you are -she needs a consistent daily routine, preferably with a family who is home most of the time. Aggie has also had two surgeries this past year to help with breathing issues. She has recovered from them but has some additional requirements because of them: -limited activity on hot or humid days -needs elevated food and water bowls -no swimming -does better with some wet food mixed with her dry kibble for meals and softer treats If you believe that you could be her perfect match, please fill out an application and meet the bestest blind dog around! Fill out your application today!

Story
Piper is a sweetheart, she loves to play with her jolly ball, stretch her legs, and get lots of belly rubs. Unfortunately, she's had a bit of a rough go of it. After not getting along with another dog in her first home, she ended up being fostered within our family. Piper has spent a lot of time kenneled in the past few years due to her not being okay with dogs and having a strong prey drive. She's been with us since October, and while we still have to crate and rotate, she has come into her own by being able to exercise in our large 2-acre fence and interacting with us regularly. She's the greatest little pup. We love her and want to see her in the right home where she can live out the rest of her life worry-free. If we didn't have other dogs, we would keep her in an instant! Piper is housebroken, crate trained (currently in a Ruff Land Kennel), and knows basic obedience as well as can show you a trick or two! She’s a quick learner and is eager to please. She’s happy running around in her yard for hours playing fetch or cuddling with her humans. Piper would do best in an experienced dog home with a fenced-in yard but is fine on a leash. She does pull slightly but I have no doubts this can be worked on. She doesn't lunge at other dogs while you're walking, she just doesn't like dogs in her face. She prefers her humans to be older kids (12 plus or dog savvy) and adults. Discounted access to Reilly's 2 Acre Fully Fenced Play Space with Wooded Paths (sniff spot) located in Waterford is included with Piper’s adoption."
