What an adorable little firecracker !! FULL of personality and afraid of nothing! She is confident, curious, LOVES the water and her baby pool. Often times she's the only one willing to get in. LAMAREY lives to be with other dogs and especially adores her humans. She is literally always happy! You cannot rain on her parade! She is kennel trained and almost house trained! She is a joy to have as part of our foster family. LAMAREY is with me in my home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family. Once an application has been submitted and approved , I would be happy to speak with you and tell you all of the wonderful things about her ! You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive so please refrain from submitting an application until you are ready to welcome a new forever family member. Transport runs each weekend, leaving Memphis Tennessee Friday morning around 6 AM at which time they start a group chat with the two drivers and all the adopters who have a A Pet on board. Transport is an additional $185.

Story
ARRIVING IN WI August 23rd! Lita is a beautiful 2 month mixed breed female puppy. She weighs about 10 pounds. She has gorgeous shiny black coat. Lita is a sweet puppy who cannot wait to have a home of her very own in WI. She gets along great with kids and other dogs. She is working hard on her potty training skills in Texas, however she is just a young puppy living in a shelter and her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday August 23rd and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that she is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly. Story
Hi there, my name is Slim Jim. Or sometimes it's Bubba. Or Bubby. Or Slimbo. Or Rambo. I have a lot of names. My foster family says I have a big heart, big smarts, and big farts!  I have a big heart because I love lots of stuff, like making new human friends and CAR RIDES. Seriously I have no sense of stranger danger and will try to jump in anyone's car for a ride. I love a good chew treat and cheeseburgers. I love my blankie and sleeping all snuggled up in my crate, so will you please tuck me in every night? I love snuggles and giving kisses, but maybe bigger kids would be best for me because I REALLY get into the snuggles and don't want to accidentally knock a tiny human down. I do NOT love the cold or rainy weather, but I love dressing up in my sweaters and jackets to stay warm! I love butt scratches, tummy rubs, all kinds of adventures, and learning new things.    Speaking of learning new things, I have big smarts in this big noggin of mine! I pick up on new tricks super fast and already know how to sit, lay down, shake, wait, back (to sit in the back seat of the car), cross (the street), and turn left (I'm working on 'right'). I am great at food puzzles, and especially love my snuffle mat. I am crate trained and super polite on my leash when we're out for walks. I even know how to use agility equipment and am learning how to use a doggy treadmill. My recent record is 13 MPH!   My big farts are not so bad if I use a puzzle feeder, because then I don't eat so fast. It's this stubby, snorty nose of mine, I can't help but take in extra air.   There are a few things I don't love, mostly kitties (I want to eat them) and other dogs (they scare me). I take a cheap, daily anxiety medication (cost is under $10/mo) which helps me be more comfortable and my foster family has done a TON of training with me. They are sponsoring a private training session for whoever adopts me, to set me up for success in my new home!    Also, because I have such big smarts I take some things as a personal challenge. Crates and fences, for example. I think they are puzzles to be solved! I need a beefier crate than most dogs and a solid plan to keep me in the yard if I'm off-leash, because if that fence isn't solid like Mount Everest I am outtie! But I don't chew on or damage things in the house, don't worry about that.    I've been waiting for a home of my very own for far too long! So if you're looking for a Very Good Boy who you can have a lot of fun with, please reach out and ask for me, Slim Jim aka Bubba aka Bubby aka Slimbo aka Rambo.         Approximate DOB: 2021 Foster Home Location: Madison    If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful dogs, you can apply on our website: https://forms.gle/MGakwmFh92UiK9iM6     Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the dog that interest you. All of our dogs are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect dog!     Our adoption fees:  Adults (up to 7 years): $275 Seniors (8 years and up): $200     All dogs are spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies, bordatella and distemper, tested for heartworm and microchipped.August 18, 2024, 8:38 pm

Story
Abracadabra Hocus Pocus ala peanut butter sandwiches! My name is Houdini and everything about me is magical! I am an adult American bully mix weighing about 44 lbs, though I could stand to gain just a couple more. Then you will need to always monitor my weight because my legs are a big wonky and deformed and I won’t do well carrying any extra. I will also be prone to arthritis as I get older, so that will be something to consider. I am a sweet little boy who is neutered, up to date on my shots, and loves EVERYONE I meet. My foster mom says older kids would be best for me because my licker never stops, and I can get a bit excited with new people and sometimes jump on them and forget my manners. I am crate trained, housebroken, dog friendly, and extremely agile considering my low rider stance. I have no issues doing a full flight of stairs or even flying into the back seat of an SUV. My foster mom is always impressed by my agility. That said, I really can't do long walks because of my front feet and the way they drag when I walk. Too much and I will wear my toenails down too far and bleed. So, an awesome stroller would be ideal for me if you want to take me places where a lot of walking is involved. I really LOVE toys and stuffies and my dream is to have a home with a hundred billion stuffies I can carry around and play with all day. I am also a pretty good listener and very smart. I just know that I am going to make a family happy, and they will adore me and always get a few chuckles from all my funny noises and my silly antics. Just one last thing though.. I do have some stinky farts! If you can live with that, then I am your man. Just PICK ME! Houdini!
