LOOK AT THOSE EARS!! Linen came to us from a junkyard down in southern Missouri. She was in a really bad way, heavily pregnant and scrounging scraps to stay alive. A kind Foster saved her and gave her a place to safely have, and raise, her babies. And she did, all 10 of them! Linen was a great mama, but she's done with her duties now. Her babies are all off in foster homes and waiting for their own adoptions. Linen is now spayed and is ready for her own forever home. She's sweet and loving, a little shy. Her foster describes her as having a quiet soul, and we think that describes her perfectly! She is very friendly with everyone, and once she trusts you, you could not ask for more of a love bug! She is the perfect girl, full grown at around 50ish lbs. She is house-broken, and great with kids, dogs, cats, and even chickens! She is in a home with other dogs now so another dog friend would be great but not absolutely necessary. She would love to meet you and show you what a great addition she would be for your family!

I adopted her from GPG in East St Louis for my grandson. I was told she scored very high on evaluations but after she was in our home for a few weeks and became comfortable she started showing signs of being aggressive with my other animals not letting them be around me. Millie doesn’t get along well with cats. I have had a few training classes since with her on her aggressive behavior and she is doing better around my other fur babies. Millie is a sweet girl she loves to cuddle with you on the couch and is very protective of her family. My husband and I are elderly and our home doesn’t have a fenced yard where she could run some. My grandson left for the military and is unable to care for her.

We took him in from another shelter who was going to euthanize him because no one was interested in adopting him. He has also beaten parvo as a young pup at his previous shelter. Richie is resilient and keeps his heart open. He loves people of all ages. He struggles at times with other animals because of how long he’s spent in shelters but he is making great progress. Richie is looking for some big hearted person who will give him all the love and snuggles he needs. Richie loves to tug and has the best zoomies. 🐾
