Story
Nancy is just adorable, she will have nicer pictures coming soon to really show her off. She is estimated to be about 9 months old and weighs 25 pounds. Nancy is so darn cute and this little muffin is very connecting, she likes to be close. She is also a playful pup, but can be quite timid, she is in need of a forever home where she can feel safe and gain confidence. Nancy is very hand shy too, we fear she may have been hit a few times in her short life, she will need a leader she can rely on, someone who can show her the world isn’t as scary as it seems. Due to her shy nature, it may take Nancy a little while to warm up to you, but once she does, you'll have a loyal and loving companion who will be your furry best friend. She will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Nancy would love to meet them. She has a bit of an apprehensive approach with other dogs at first, but then moves into play. If you are interested in Nancy and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
**Panther is in a foster home and not at the kennel. Please apply at k9stray.com if interested in meeting Panther** This little guy is darling! Panther is estimated to be about 7 months old and weighs 16 pounds. Panther is a goofy, cuddly baby who loves to be close to his favorite people. He enjoys lots of snuggles and is most content in your lap, but of course loves to be a playful, silly pup too! Panther would be the perfect addition to a family who is able to give him lots of love and attention. Because he is so people-oriented, and still a puppy, he would prefer to be in a home where he is not alone for long periods of time. Panther can be a little submissive and really wants to please you, so it would be wonderful if his family could help build his confidence and also work on some basic obedience. He can't wait to find a forever home where he can bring love and joy into his new family's life! If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Panther would love to meet them. He has whole body wiggles and play bows when with other friendly dogs, too cute! If you are interested in Panther l and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peak your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)!
