We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. She’s a Paws in Prison Graduate and has her Canine Good Citizen Certificate! We believe she is a Bull Terrier mix. Let’s find her people! REDUCED ADOPTION FEE! Zara has an inner joy that radiates from her. She’s always smiling and in a fantastic mood. She’s affectionate, ready to cuddle, and quite busy. Zara turned 1 year old on 12/1/24. She’s quick, energetic and ready to meet everyone on the planet.  She does well with other dogs. Zara started out spending all her time outside. That’s changed since coming into rescue, and she’s delighted it has. She’s a very pretty girl who needs a loving home with people who understand this girl has to do stuff!!! She has a coat of stark white and pitch black. Very striking! But it’s her personality and genuineness that really stand out. Zara really is a wonderful dog. Everything about her is sweet, including her little grins! Zara needs a home with a family who will give her a lot of exercise. She is not a couch potato dog. Physical and Mental stimulation are a must for this girl! She's got beauty AND brains galore! Zara has graduated from Paws In Prison. She is fully trained in basic obedience and has her Canine Good Citizen certification! This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
