Story
* COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT TRAPPER/FOSTER/ADOPTER ** Meet Lala! Background: owned a warehouse in Los Angeles. He had trapped her to go to the shelter. We didn't know if she was friendly or feral but offered to keep her out of the shelter system where she wouldn't have fared well if feral. She turned out to be a very grateful little girl who is vocal and likes to tell you all about it. She does have a little bit of a "calico side" to her. Lala is very playful, full of curiosity, great with other cats, comes when she is called, loves pets and doesn't mind being held. She's such a wonderful little girl, we just love her. Kids: Does best with older, mature kids (due to calico side) Cats: She does great with all cats & kittens Dogs: She's never been around dogs * Date of Birth: April 2021 (approx) * Color/Breed: Tabico (Calico+Tabby Mix) * Eye Color:Green * Spayed * Vaccinated * SNAP Tested FELV/FIV Results: Negative/Negative * Microchipped: Found Animals * Flea Treated * Dewormed * Litterbox Trained * Litter Preference: All Natural, Unscented * Scratch Post Preference: Rope Sisal & Cardboard * Best Friend: Cullen * Ask About Our Adopt-A-Pair: it's a program designed to keep siblings & best friends together! ADOPT-A-PET FORMS EXPLANATION: * Adoption Application: If you are ready to adopt, filling out an adoption application gets the adoption process moving forward for approval & home delivery. Adoption applications receive priority over inquiries. * Adopt-A-Pet Inquiry Forms: To avoid any confusion, the inquiry form is a brief email form if you have questions. It does not start the adoption process. FACT: Did you know 80-90% of the cats in the shelters are from the streets? Please help support your local TNR (Trap.Neuter.Return.) groups who are on the streets making a difference by stopping the overwhelming number of litters being born. Please consider fostering with us to save more lives. Always remember to Sterilize....Don't Euthanize!

Story
* COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT TRAPPER/FOSTER/ADOPTER ** Sweet little Salt is one of our ultimate favorite girls! She was living at a Target on a parking lot with her mom, Target. A feeder had taken care of them for years, gotten them both fixed, found homes for their kittens and then never tried to find these girls their own homes off the streets. We met her through several calls for help from the concerned community. They were living under dumpsters and Target (the store) had threatened to remove them. We went and trapped in the rain to get these girls to safety. Target was several years older and we had to euthanize her due to a failing liver. Salt, however, is healthy and thriving. She needs a dental and a few teeth removed, but who wouldn't at her age? We will take care of this and have an appointment, but we really want her in a home asap and while we wait for her appointment. Salt is a wonderfully kind, gentle soul who loves belly rubs, lots of pets and a hammock. She loves buckets or boxes with fluffy blankets and you'll find her napping in the sunshine soaking up the rays. She does enjoy a good scratch on a tall, sisal post...but most of all, she really enjoys curling up next to you with an arm around her. We would love to find Salt a permanent home and/or a temporary foster so she can enjoy her senior years. She does not like dogs and is good with other cats as long as they're not dominant or alpha personalities. Salt is now: * Spayed * Vaccinated * SNAP Test Results: *FELV Negative *FIV Negative * Microchipped * Flea Treated: Revolution * Dewormed: Droncit Triple Wormer * Litterbox Trained: Open Box * Litter Preference: All-Natural Unscented Litter * Scratch Post Preference: Rope Sisal & Cardboard ADOPT-A-PET FORMS EXPLANATION: * Adoption Application: If you are ready to adopt, filling out an adoption application gets the adoption process moving forward for approval & home delivery. Story
Introducing Patches and Miss Bean, two lovely ladies who have formed an unbreakable bond and are looking for a forever home together. These girls didn't know each other before being rescued from different areas, but in their foster home, they've become inseparable and bring out the best in each other. **Patches:** Patches is the shy and gentle soul of the pair. Born to a feral mother, she learned to be cautious around people. However, thanks to the influence of Miss Bean and the nurturing environment of their foster home, Patches is blossoming into a sweet and affectionate kitty. She now enjoys being petted and loves laying next to her foster mom. With a little patience and love, Patches will continue to grow in confidence and become a loving companion. **Miss Bean:** Miss Bean is the outgoing and playful half of this dynamic duo. Curious and always ready for a new adventure, Miss Bean’s playful nature brings joy and laughter into any room. She loves a good cuddle and is always up for some fun. Her confident and affectionate demeanor has helped Patches come out of her shell, making them the perfect pair. **Why Adopt Patches and Miss Bean Together?** These two have formed a special bond that goes beyond friendship. Miss Bean’s confidence helps Patches feel more secure, and Patches’ gentle nature brings out the nurturing side of Miss Bean. Together, they create a perfect balance of playfulness and calm. Adopting them together means you’ll have twice the love and double the fun! Patches and Miss Bean are ready to bring joy, love, and companionship into your home. If you have room in your heart and home for this delightful duo, please consider adopting them together. They are waiting to meet you and become a cherished part of your family. Born 7/1/23.

Story
Meet Momo! She is an exceptionally smart and affectionate cat. She came to us as a young mother along with her nursing kittens – now that they’ve all been adopted, it’s her turn to find a loving home! At first, Momo takes some time to warm up to new friends, but once she does, she'll chat with you all about her day! She comes to you expertly when called loves getting quality pets. She enjoys parading around the house with her favorite stuffed toys, and she'll even let you play fetch with her sometimes! Momo loves her toys and hopes to have a nice collection in her new home. This cat knows what she likes in life! In the afternoon, you’ll find Momo taking a catnap in a sunbeam, enjoying the breeze. Her evening routine starts with a good play session, followed by brushing and a nice dinner. She is a happy camper when she has vertical scratch pads that she can scratch and take a good stretch on. Regular play sessions with her toys help to ensure she’s burned off her energy and is on her best kitty behavior. Momo is quirky and endearing, and when you meet her on her terms, she'll be the best feline companion you could ask for! Potential adopters should be aware that Momo has a history of inappropriately urinating outside of her litterbox while in her foster home. Our Adoption Team would be happy to share more information about this behavior and recommendations for how to set her up for success in your home. Story
Meet Evie! This special girl is ready to find a family of her own! When Evie first arrives in her new home, she may be a bit shy, but soon enough she will love to be around you! This young cat is very active and is all about playtime. When she’s not asking to play and socialize, she loves to explore around the house and find little hideaway spots to take a catnap. At the end of the day, Evie loves to curl up and cuddle with her people. While in our care, Evie has been under management for a potential diagnosis of feline megacolon, a condition where the walls of the colon cannot contract, leading to severe constipation. Evie is currently on one medication to help her pass stool, which she is tolerating very well and has not had constipation since treatment began. If it is ever determined that she does have megacolon, she may require surgery if she stops responding to medical management. After applying for her, our Adoption Team will be happy to share more information about Evie’s medical history and expected future care. Evie’s dream home would be one where she can all the pets and snuggles she wants! She still has lots of kitten energy, so regular play sessions throughout the day are always welcome. She does entertain herself pretty well with her toys, though! She may also do well in a home with a playful cat to befriend, as she loves socializing with other cats and kittens. Has Evie already stolen your heart?
