Story
Rsisin is a beautiful cat (about a year old) that I saved from my neighborhood. She has a great personality, doesn’t scratch furniture, has no health issues, is spayed and microchipped. She has been living with me for 2 months where I’ve been trying to introduce her to my resident cat. Needless to say it is not working out and she needs a home where she is the only cat. She gets along with dogs and people really great, just not other cats. I would love to keep her myself, but it’s not fair to either cat. Once you meet her, you will fall in love with her immediately, everyone does!

Story
Sweet Iris came from a farm where there were just way too many unaltered cats and the situation had gotten out of control. We have been taking them in one by one. Iris was the first to come in and now she is ready for her forever home. She is very sweet and lovable and great with kids! She's still a baby, just 6 months young. She is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, vaccinated, litter box trained and ready for her forever home. Could that be you? OUR CATS AND KITTENS MUST NEVER BE DECLAWED OR ALLOWED OUTDOORS! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $250

Penguin is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt Program! Read more about this program below.Penguin here, and I am a handsome fella just over 3 years old who enjoys playtime with my favorite feather wand and delightful catnip mice!I am looking for a laid back home with another friendly kitty to keep me company and show me the ropes. Did I mention I don't mind cat friendly doggos too! Every day is a learning experience, and I've made tremendous progress learning how to be an indoor cat.  n fact, I've really been blossoming and showing how silly and playful I am!My other hobbies include climbing high where I can su-purrvise, enjoying some catnip here and there, and trying to figure out these fun food puzzles! Got some time? Spend it with me and we will work on my awesomeness together!I am now accepting adoption applications, available below!___________________________Ten Lives’ Foster-to-Adopt program allows potential adopters to interact and bond with a cat in a home setting before making a lifelong commitment. This program is a great way to see a cat’s true personality and watch how they integrate into your household. Please note, that only cats listed as foster-to-adopt are eligible for this program. How does it work?Foster-to-adopt applications are reviewed based on our goal of placing cats in their best-matched homes to facilitate lifelong adoptions. Once approved, you will bring home your new friend and have 30 days to determine whether they are a perfect fit for you and your family. During the foster-to-adopt period, you will be responsible for providing food, litter, and monthly flea prevention. Ten Lives will provide any outstanding veterinary care at a partner veterinarian. Please note: Ten Lives will not cover care provided by a non-partner veterinarian. Please consider this when submitting a foster-to-adopt application. At the end of the 30 days, you can make the adoption official by signing an adoption agreement and paying the adoption fee or you can return the cat to the care of Ten Lives. Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in fostering to adopt from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/foster-to-adopt/___________________________Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Meow there, my name is Walter and I am a chatty 3 year old happy boy who is ready for my next adventure in life! I love to explore all the fun things in your home, and never say no to a good catnip mousey to bring out my inner tiger! My other hobbies include bird watching from my cat condo, trying to master my food puzzle, and getting closer to my goal of catching that feather wand that keeps flying by me! You may remember when I arrived to Ten Lives after having emergency surgery. Thanks to the support of so many wonderful people, I am thriving after my surgery where I lost about 50% of my colon. You can now find me supervising the bird feeder on the window, snuggling with my person, or simply doing my rounds around the house to keep an eye on things and make sure nothing has changed from 5 minutes ago. A home that can give me lots of love and attention is all I could ever want. But I still enjoy some mischief, so please house-proof and make sure sweet temptations, like string, are nowhere in sight. I can't wait for my forever home. Ready for a playful, outgoing and energetic boy to keep you on your toes? Pawsome, let's meet soon!  I am now accepting adoption applications, available below!Walter has a heart gallop that requires no additional medication or testing at this time, but it should be monitored annually. He is also on a prescription diet which he should continue on - Hill's Prescription Diet Gastrointestinal Biome Digestive/Fiber Care.___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Let's spring into the warmer weather together, just you and me! Vixen here, and I am a tricolour happy girl just under 8 years old who adores attention, pets, and brushing sessions! I am soft and snuggly, but will also give you your space and do my own thing! I would love a home with a kitty condo where I can watch the birds fly by and keep an eye on the outdoor squirrels. I'm selective about feline friends but with the right introduction might be ok. I am currently on a urinary diet that I will need to remain on to keep me happy and healthy. I can't wait to read all my adoption applications, available below!Vixen is currently eating a prescription urinary diet (wet and dry), Royal Canin SO, that should be continued post-adoption. ___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives!
