Butterscotch came from a feeding colony. Rescuers believe she was dumped because she was so sweet-natured and always come out when meals were served. She spent her life outside until someone decided to give her a chance at being a beloved house cat. She was brought into foster care because of her gentleness. Around new humans, Butterscotch is a shy and quiet girl. But, here is the most unusual thing about Butterscotch: she is a natural babysitter around tiny kittens. She will love and nurture nursing kittens and actually takes turn caring for them to give relief to their mama cat. We suspect her mothering nature stems from her time in the feeding colony, where young female cats often care for nurslings that are part of the community. Despite a luxurious, pampered life indoors, Butterscotch is still cautious. She always had to be careful and on the lookout for predators when she was on her own. While she might look a little worried, she is very gentle and her foster family can hold her. This lovely creature became an orphan and entered our rescue, seeking a new home with devoted owners. Like all calicos, Amaryllis knows how to lay on the charm with her coquettish manners and fluffy tail swirling around her. She will twirl around her owners until she gets all the petting and compliments her little heart desires. Then, when she is satiated with her dues, human attendants are dismissed as she struts off nonchalantly with her plumy tail waving good-bye. We lover her calendar-cat exceptional looks, but even more, we love her independent spirit and her gentleness. During the day, she can also be found contemplating the meaning of life on a warm windowsill while peering at the world outside. Despite her regal looks and luxurious coat, Amaryllis doesn't let anyone forget that she is still a top urban predator as she bats her toy mouse around, honing her instinctive predatorial skills. This pretty huntress will need playtime and interactive wand toys to keep her mind stimulated. Hello. Callie is a very sweet Calico. We are unsure her exact age as my mom took her in as a stray approximately 8 years ago. We believe she is likely around 9 years old. Unfortunately my mother’s health has declined such that she cannot care for Callie any longer. We would like to find a loving home for her.

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Calico / TabbyJoy     Female     ID# JTW134-24    DOB: 8/25/2024 One look at JOY and that is exactly what you will feel!  She is a beautiful TABICO DESIGNER CAT.   Joy is a Calico \ Tabby whose fur is mostly white, with underlying calico spots and a tabby striped tail in calico colors.  Her Calico party spots give her such a fun and joyful appearance.   She has beautiful expressive golden eyes.  Joy’s story with Cat Matchers began when she was found orphaned on a hot summer day.   A good Samaritan brought her to Cat Matchers (along with two other siblings) to our volunteer who promptly began bottle feeding her around the clock until she was healthy and ready to be weaned, spayed, microchipped and have all the age-appropriate vaccines to be ready for adoption and find the perfect loving home.  As do most bottle-fed babies, she loves human attention and interaction.  She loves to be held, and pet, and pampered.  Joy enjoys playing with toys and wrestling with the other kittens.  She even plays fetch with a little ball and will chase and bring it back to her foster mom over and over.  Joy will certainly bring happiness into your home.  Joy’s siblings were previously adopted, and she misses playing with them.  She would like to be adopted with another kitten; however she would also be happy in a home that already has cats or kittens to play with.**Want to adopt? If your're a Harry Potter fan, you'll recognize where she gets her name from! She loves to explore the house and her favorite game to play is hide and seek. She really enjoys cuddling alongside her siblings, especially with her sister Hermione, but another one of her favorite spots to rest is at the top of her cat tree under the sunlight. She grows more and more confident around humans every day and would make an adorable addition to your household. Axel is a sweet young man. I have tried to make it work with him, but my allergies are too much for me.

Due to a recently diagnosed allergy to cats in our household, we can no longer keep him. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and I’m desperately seeking help to ensure ChouChou finds the loving, patient home he deserves. ChouChou is a sweet, sensitive, and gentle 5-year-old cat. He’s a big boy (neutered), weighing about 23 pounds (He is a big one!!!), and is completely up-to-date on his vaccinations. He’s in perfect health but requires time and understanding to adapt to new surroundings and people. Because of his sensitive nature, ChouChou would thrive best as the ONLY pet in a calm, quiet household where he can feel safe and loved. Please Note: It may take weeks or even months for him to fully settle into his new home and build trust with his adopter. If you’re looking for an instant bond, he may not be the right match for you.
