Story
Meet Gumbo, a beautiful Calico girl. She's active, very communicative, will crawl in our laps and snuggle - on her terms. She is confident and good at letting you know what she wants and needs! We think she would do really well with a cat-savvy family who understand how cats communicate. She is very much a Calico with her spunky and assertive approach to life. She would thrive and flourish in a household with other cats. She loves the toy balls to bat about and adores the play tube/tunnel. She likes high places and play wrestling with her brother Bayou. Does like to use the cat tree for scratching….a very nice habit! Her estimated birth date is July 12, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2156879##

Story
Orchid is a lovely DSH Calico female born approximately 5/12/2024. Orchid was rescued by a Good Samaritan who found her hanging around outside their house. They started feeding her, and then she just never left! She was eventually brought inside to foster with the hopes of finding her a forever home. Orchid is a really sweet scaredy-cat. She doesn’t like loud noises or kids. She takes a minute to warm up. She needs a loving home with less traffic just to relax and chill. She is hyper when she wants to be, but very playful. Orchid is fostered with another girl kitty, Cato, and they have become best friends. They love to play and groom each other. If they can get adopted together, that would be great!  Orchid is microchipped and currently in a foster home. Her adoption fee is $105.December 24, 2024, 10:40 am

Story
Meet Cleo! Cleo "Cleopatra" is a beautiful cat with big green eyes who is shy but affectionate when she warms up to anyone. She has a little cut on her right tip of her ear from when she was living in the streets. Her favorite spot to be scratched is her chin. Cleo is both shy and curious about her surroundings. But once she feels safe and comfortable she makes herself home and lays around. Cleo was found in a parking lot and after few head scratches she instantly felt comfortable to be around me where she could be pick up. The vet put her over the age of 1 years old. Cleo is such a smart and loving that she deserves the best instead of being in the streets. DOB: 03/01/2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw./

Story
Meet Gracy! Gracy is a beautiful dilute tortie. She has absolutely stunning golden eyes and the cutest pink nose. Not to mention her marking are beautiful Gracy is sweet and gentle. She enjoys pets and quiet time. She would do best in a home that is quiet without a lot of activity and other pets. Gracy was born in a colony, she is the only survivor of her litter. She was initially going to be a TNR. However, she showed up wounded probably at the hands of a not nice human and her caretaker brought her in and got veterinary care. She decided that Gracy deserved in indoor loving home. Because of her past, Gracy is a little shy around new people, but is sweet when she gets to know you. Estimated DOB 2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. Story
I found kadie as a kitten. She is about 5 years old now. She is a bit shy and will likely hide until she gets to know you. Once she is more comfortable she loves belly rubs and will come cuddle. My ex had her declawed and unfortunately her back paws didn't heal well and sometimes bother her. She is fixed. She would do well as an only pet. I do have another cat and a dog that she gets along with but she takes time to warm up to new animals. She is great with kids and never tries to bite or scratch anyone. Only rehoming because my new rental won't allow her.

Story
I call her Blondie because of her blondish fur. I’m just trying to find her a home. I went a little off my rocker during the BIG C, collecting stray animals—mostly cats. Now, I’ve realized I can’t take care of all these cats on my own. So, I’m just trying to find good homes for them.

Story
Mutt (the cat), one of the Schitt’s Creek kittens, was brought to a caring volunteer by his mom, a community cat. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back after is brother, David said it was OK! He absolutely loves his brother, David and enjoys spending his days cuddling in boxes and baskets with him. Don’t let his lounging ways fool you though; he is very playful and will demand cuddles and pets. If he isn’t getting enough attention, he will let you know that he needs TWO hands to pet him! Stop before he’s done, and he will nuzzle you till you have changed your mind. Mutt (the cat) is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. He is litter-box trained and uses cat trees and scratching posts appropriately. We are still accepting applications on this pet. Please read the Adoption Process steps below. Story
Maris is a playful young adult. She enjoys climbing on cat trees and playing “Queen of the Mountain” on the top shelf. She enjoys head scratches when it is time for her breakfast or dinner – she’s quite food motivated. She will need an experienced adopter as she is extremely cautious around people. She can startle easily, so she will do best with an understanding family who will work with her while she acclimates to her forever home. She is a beautiful girl who loves to be petted once she is settled. She loves to play with other cats and will do well in a home with other pets. Maris is up-to-date on all vaccines, she is spayed and microchipped, litter box trained and eats both wet and dry food. If you are reading this, we are still accepting applications on this pet. Story
Gorgeous Lorelei was relinquished to Collin County Animal Shelter extremely pregnant. Knowing she was very young, RHS took her in so she could have her kittens in a loving and safe environment. Little did we know the next day she would become a mother to five babies!! She was the best mother any kitten could ask for, although she was very inexperienced. She has the most silky soft silver-gray coat that you’ll just want to pet. She absolutely loves human attention, but can become over-stimulated sometimes, so she needs to be in a home with a family that has experience with particular kitties. She has lived with a few dogs and decided they are not her speed, but she would do well with a quiet, passive cat as she is very dominant.  Sadly, momma cats are often left behind and have to wait months if not longer to find their perfect home. Please consider adopting this young-adult little girl; she will make someones home so very happy!! Lorelei is spayed, up-to-date on all recommended vaccines and has been microchipped. She uses scratching posts appropriately and is litter box trained. ALL ADOPTERS/FOSTERS MUST LIVE WITHIN 60 MILES OF RICHARDSON, TX.
