Story
Hi I’m Foxy! My foster mom saved me from the street when it was extremely hot, when she called me I came right to her and I’ve known love ever since.Foxy is a very sweet, and loving dog around 2 years old (even though she looks like a puppy)! She’s only 18.5 pounds right now, but extremely skinny—she needs to gain 8-10 pounds to be a healthier weight. She loves to cuddle and snuggle with her foster brother, sister and momma. All 3 play very well together and love tug of war!She does need her own space when she’s eating, but that’s just because she was found starving on the streets. She lets you know when she needs to go outside to potty. She needs some help getting into a crate but settles down after a few minutes, and makes friends with everyone she meets!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.August 18, 2024, 5:27 am

Story
Howdy Do. My name is Gunnar. I just have to be the softest sweetest lovingest boy you have ever met. I am a Black Mouth Cur. I just love being around you, riding in the car, hanging out in the yard watching the cars go by or snuggled next to you while we watch a movie. If given the opportunity, I would love to snuggle in bed with you. My foster parents keep saying they just do not understand why I was dumped. I was found wandering out in the country up a nice lady's driveway. Immediately I could tell how kind she was. We hit it off immediately. But, I am still a puppy with tons of energy and not overly familiar with etiquette. So, the lady's daughter called the rescue I am with. The daughter knows the rescue will spoil me rotten while I wait to get adopted. My ideal family is one who likes the outdoors (running, hiking, camping, ball games, yard work), and loves to spend the day watching movies if the weather isn't cooperating. Please fill out an application and deposit to begin my journey to you furever. Gunnar Male Neutered Breed: Black Mouth Cur Age 7 months Weight 47 Great with people, children, dogs/ puppies, and/ or cats/ kittens. Adoption Donation $495
