Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 25 lbs Age 4 months as of 3/20        Hattie is an adorable puppy who is a happy & healthy girl, along with her  sisters and brother she is having a grand time in her foster home, romping and playing at Wags and joining her siblings snuggling into a big puppy pile to nap.    The puppies were found by a truck driver in a rural  part of Mississippi, abandoned in a deserted field. Two of the siblings had already sadly passed away. The driver gathered up the remaining pups and brought them to Wags.  Since then, the three girls and one boy have thrived, getting the vet care, food and vaccines that they need. They are friendly and loving and will make great family dogs.    Hattie is currently in Mississippi and is scheduled for a spay soon. She would love to board the transport anytime in the next couple of weeks and head to the northeast! She is ready to give sloppy kisses to the lucky family who adopts her.     Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay neuter. Story
Meet Russ, a charming canine on a quest to find his FUR-ever home. Discovered at a park in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Russ's story unfolds with a tale of abandonment, evident in his longing gaze. Despite being left behind a month ago from when we found him, Russ carries himself with the grace of a once-loved companion. At around 3 years old and a sturdy 30 pounds, Russ is a picture of canine elegance, displaying the distinctive traits of a brown Carolina Dog mix. His manners are impeccable – he's mastered the art of leash walking and delights in staying close to his human companions. Russ is not just a pretty face; he's a well-rounded pup. Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm negative, he's in tip-top health and ready to bring joy to a loving family. His good-natured spirit extends to children and other dogs, making him a versatile addition to any household. With a love for the great outdoors, Russ dreams of a big yard or even a farm to explore and call his own. If you're seeking a loyal companion to share your adventures, consider making Russ a part of your family. Adopt Russ, and let the journey of unconditional love and companionship begin – because every dog deserves a FUR-ever home. Satos (pronounced with a short A) are a type of dog rather then a breed.  The name is Puerto Rican slang for “street dog,” but they are also known as Puerto Rican Found Dogs in the U.S. They are the homeless dogs, or urban free-ranging dogs, that live in Puerto Rican cities. Satos are small to medium dogs, usually not more than 35-40lbs. They have large ears that flop, long snouts and legs that seem just a tiny bit too short for their bodies. Their fur varies from a short thick coat to longer, feathery details on the tail and ears. They come in every color imaginable.  November 2, 2024, 11:51 am

Story
Say hello to Dodger, the 4 and 1/2-year-old, 52-pound bundle of joy with ears that could catch the wind! Dodger’s charming personality and goofy antics are sure to steal your heart in an instant. He’s an affectionate, intelligent, and playful pup who loves nothing more than spending time with his favorite people – could that be you? Dodger’s journey hasn’t been easy. Abandoned by his previous owner who had moved away, Dodger was left in a crowded shelter and was at risk of being euthanized due to space limitations. But his story took a turn for the better when he found a loving foster home where he blossomed into the sweet, obedient dog he is today. He's eager to please, and in his foster home, he thrived alongside two kids (5 and 7 years old), showing just how wonderful he can be with young ones (see his video on his 11th Hour profile)! When it comes to Dodger’s favorite things, he’s all about tummy rubs, rolling in the grass, and long walks. Car rides? He’s there for them, tail wagging in excitement. Dodger is also great with toys and is known to be a lap pet who will happily curl up with you after a fun day of play. His goofy side will keep you smiling, and his loyalty will keep you feeling loved and cherished. Dodger would prefer to be the only dog in his future home; so he could get all your attention to himself. He’s house-trained and leash-trained, and he’ll make a wonderful addition to a home that’s ready to never leave him behind. Dodger is fixed, up to date on immunizations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $415. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this sweet, eager-to-please pup, apply to adopt DODGER LIZMAN today at EHRDOGS.ORG !  March 18, 2025, 1:54 am
