Story
Simba is a very energetic and loving cat. He is always seeking people and attention. He requires lots of play time and lots of cuddle. He would do well in going to a family with many members as he does not enjoy being alone. He is bonded to my other cat shadow. I would prefer they be adopted together if possible.

Story
Nellie is a sweet but timid kitty who has been living with her foster home for three years now. She`s come a long way since she came to BARS as a pregnant stray cat! Although easily spooked, she loves to chase the laser pointer, play with string, get pets from her foster mom, and snuggle with other kitties. Nellie is continuously learning how to trust people, but she will curl up by her foster mom`s feet and is always hanging out in the main room, scoping out the situation and looking for a reflection to chase. She`s truly a special cat and has been very low maintenance in her foster home! She would do well in a home with no dogs, children who are good with cats, and needs another kitty friend to show her the ropes.

Story
Hi! I`m Taylor, and I`ve been with BARS for almost 3 years!! I came into care as a young feral mama to be, and had my babies the very next day!!! Since coming into care I`ve learned that there are humans that can be trusted, and the best humans for me are those that will let me be me, and let me do things at my own pace. Some days I like being petted, and will sleep at my foster humans` feet most nights. Other days I`m more skittish and am happier on my own. I can still spook easily, and I don`t know if I`ll ever be a lap cat ( although it looks like it could be nice if I get brave enough). I`m used to being around other cats, and get on great with my doggy foster brother too! I love to play when I think no one is watching me, and I love bird and gopher watching from the cat tree too!

Story
Hello, I`m Lynx. I`m a (young) senior, but don`t let that fool you. I still have plenty of love to give. I`m sweet and gentle, and while I am very shy at first, once I get to know you, I`ll be your loyal companion. I`m also a smart boy, I love puzzle toys!My Hu-Mom that brought me home as a kitten all those years ago got sick and was unable to keep me so I am back with BARS for now. Since returning, I`ve been diagnosed with diabetes, but my foster Mom says I`m `an absolute champ` at taking my insulin injections.I absolutely love to flop over for my foster Mom and show her my white tummy, and when she sits with me I like to curl up in her lap. It took a while for me to trust that I was safe but after building trust she says I am a purrfect housemate!I don`t like loud environments and while I have lived with other cats and a small dog, I would also be happy being your only best boy! I also need a home who is willing to work with my diabetes, which includes twice-daily insulin injections and scheduled feeding. If you`d like to know more about me, reach out to the BARS Feline Team! If you`re looking for a calm older kitty, give me a chance and I promise, you won`t regret it!

Story
Hi, I`m Pipsy! I`m a young, energetic ball of fun. I love to play and make people laugh with my silly antics. I might have three legs, but that doesn`t stop me from hopping around and having a good time, my one leg is a little silly looking but has never caused me any discomfort, and adds to my charm - I had a femoral head break at a very young age as well as damage to the growth plates. My Dr. says I’ve healed great and have no pain associated with it. I`m also very sweet and friendly. I love to cuddle and be close to people. I`m always up for a good game of chase or a cozy nap on a warm lap. I may be a bit different, but that`s what makes me special. Adopting me will not only give you a loyal friend, but also a source of joy and laughter. Let`s create beautiful memories together!
