Story
Meet Danny, the tri-paw'd cat! After being discovered by a good samaritan in their front yard unable to walk, Danny was brought into care and immediately whisked off to the vet for treatment. He is now on the road to recovery and learning how to get around on three paws, but he doesn't let that dampen his spirit!Danny is a social boy who loves people, chin scratches, and curling up on his cozy bed. He is playful, curious, enjoys batting his toys around the room, and is always up for a good snuggle. While we don't know his history, Danny does not like dogs and has been hesitant with meeting other cats, but he absolutely adores his human friends and would make a wonderful companion. If you would like to give Danny the wonderful fur-ever home he deserves, please submit an application to the Shuswap branch through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.7 Age: 0yrs 9mths 1wks

Story
Meet Miss Abby!Abby was recently surrendered to our care after her human moved into a care home, and she's been feeling quite shy since her arrival. However, when she warms up and feels comfortable, Abby becomes quite the sweetheart who just wants to be loved and curl up with her human. She will happily shower you with head bumps and nose boops to ask for attention, and when you oblige, she becomes a sweet little purr machine!Abby enjoys spending her time with her family, getting all the gentle pets, as she kneads the day away. She also enjoys snoozing on her favourite blanket on a rocking chair or in her hidey-holes, but the true way to her heart is with a bit of catnip.Abby lived as a solo feline in her home, so would prefer to continue to be the only queen in her castle. She would do best in a quiet home without small children. If you are ready to welcome sweet Abby into your home and hearts, please fill out an application for the Shuswap branch below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.7 Age: 3yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Ella recently came into our care because she did not get along with the new kitty in her home.Ella is friendly and chatty, we'd like to see her in a home without other animals so that she can be the centre of attention once again. Ella is waiting for a dental proceedure (at our expense) but she is still available to take home while she waits for that, depending on your location. This girl loves attention, loves canned food, and loves catnip! She's extra special because she's a polydactyl! This means her front feet have thumbs :O If you are interested in adopting Ella, please submit a pre-adoption application to the Shuswap branch through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 6.25 Age: 10yrs 8mths 1wks
