Brie is a quiet and very loving, sometimes shy, indoor cat. She turned 2 on November 9th. She is spayed, microchipped, updated on all shots, and litter box trained. Excellent at keeping a house clean of bugs. She will keep up a conversation in meows and likes the attention. Unfortunately, our other 2-year-old cat doesn't like Brie and won't try getting along with her after giving it time and trying many tricks. She deserves a better home, as she is one of the best cats I've met. Preferably rehomed to one person or a couple, as she doesn't seem to enjoy being around kids or other cats/dogs but enjoys the company of me and my husband. I do have her adoption folder from El Dorado County Animal Shelter to give as well.

We recently purchased our home, and Fluffy came with the house. We don’t know his age, but know he is an adult cat. He lives in our garage because we have cat allergies and an indoor dog that Fluffy doesn't like. He is a beautiful cat. He is very loving and really needs to be an indoor cat where he can sit in a lap and be petted. He is litter box trained and hasn’t sprayed anywhere in our garage. He is very lazy, lounges most of the day and just wants attention, preferable from someone home all day. Everytime we go out to the garage he runs to us, purring and looking for attention.

Harvey is a former street cat turned indoor snuggle bug looking for his forever home. He was rescued from an animal-hoarding situation, and he needs a calm, quiet single-cat home. He is FIV+ and needs dental work to help him feel his best. He is 10 years old and is very food motivated. He does a good job using the litter box, and he likes to sleep on his bed, the sofa, or on blankets. Harvey would be a good companion for someone who understands that he has been through a lot in his life. He likes to be around people, but he also likes his space.

We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Meet Blue! This handsome hunk is a totally easy-going, friendly, affectionate lovebug! He’s extra special because he had a surgery that you can read about below. He’s currently residing with our friends at Dry Creek Veterinary Hospital in Roseville so you’re welcome to contact us or them if you are interested in learning more about Blue! He’s only 6 years old, perfectly well mannered  and would be an awesome companion cat to someone! He had a perineal urethrostomy surgery and will likely need to be on special urinary crystal food, but you can talk to his veterinarian foster mom about that. It is a very manageable condition & the surgery will likely be a lifetime success. Read about it here: Male cats develop urinary obstructions much more readily than female cats due to differences in urinary tract anatomy between the two sexes. While the female urethra is relatively short and maintains a consistent diameter as it travels from the bladder to its external opening, the male urethra is slightly longer and, more importantly, it narrows as it enters the penis. This narrowing of the urethra predisposes males to urinary obstructions in which the urethra becomes blocked by stones, blood clots, mucus, or tumors. A perineal urethrostomy creates a new urinary opening that decreases the length of the urethra and allows urine to bypass this narrowed region. This surgery can decrease the likelihood of recurring obstruction.
