This is little group of orange kitties made their way to PRBJ after a nice man found them alone in his yard at around 4 weeks old. He monitored them, and when the mom did not come back, he continued to feed and care for them until he knew they were old enough to get their vaccines and prepare for their forever homes. Tango and siblings would love to be adopted with a sibling or be in a home with another young cat. She was able to take him to get his vaccines and get neutered but was having trouble finding a good home and unfortunately her older cats were not happy about having a new kitty in the home, so she reached out to PRBJ to see if we could help him find a forever home. Jackson is a shy and takes time to warm up and even then he is still a little aloof. He does not really like other cats. We are recommending a home without children to help him feel safer. They watched for a mom however with the heat and the kittens walking around in the yard they were afraid that either wildlife may find them or they would be too hot outside. So they scooped them up got them water and then brought them to PRBJ where they would be safe and could get some TLC. Shibu is a sweet long hair boy that will come to you when he wants to be petted. He does not like for you to go after him, he will run if you do. He did come in with another cat but really never was with her. He does not hang out with any cats at the center. He likes being alone. Leeward along with his companion Harriett were abandoned by their owners when the owners moved to Texas and left the two cats in a bathroon at a warehouse. They had been there for about 2 weeks when someone reported the roof was leaking and they were discovered by maintenance workers found the two in a flooded bathroom. There was no AC and it was unclear if they had been left with any food or not. But clearly had someone not reported the leak than these two sweet babies would not have made it without AC, food and standing water. Anyways on to new and better things this little duo is in search of their forever homes. They do not need to be adopted together because they do have very independent personalities but going to the same home would be a good way to help them in finding comfort. They are both love bugs and enjoy being brushed. They are looking for someone that will enjoy an affection cat or two.
