Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Resident since November 2022Little Sienna was out on her own when she was trapped and brought into a high-kill shelter. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that she had a flea collar wrapped around her front leg... and it had been there for some time because it was now embedded. After removing the collar and getting healing up, the shelter reached out to Judy to see if we could help get this sweet little girl an amazing forever home.  Sienna gets very nervous when she is around other cats, so we recommend a house with no other cats to make her the most comfortable. She is still scared of loud noises and fast movements, so young kids are not recommended.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2024, 4:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Resident since February 2023Mimosa was surrendered to our rescue when her owner was unable to care for her and couldn't afford to get her spayed. Mimosa is very shy and at first skittish. A quiet, low traffic home with no children would work for her best for her. She does get scared of loud noises and fast movements. Once she gets to knows you, she is a lovebug! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Little Boom was born to our Jeri back in March. She was one of seven babies, but unfortunately, only she and her sister, Truffle, survived. This girl is quite timid and would prefer a quiet home with no young kids as she spooks easily. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2024, 4:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi. My name is Nick (Pumpernickel), and I'm shy. I didn't meet any people until I was about 2 months old when I came to Pet Rescue by Judy.  I was so scared of everything that I got really upset if anyone even tried to touch me.   The lady in the cat room thought maybe I could learn better manners, so my foster mom brought me and my sisters to her house to teach us. I got to learn how to play string games, and I had some cool toys. She gave me nice treats, and eventually I felt safe and said she could pet me. I have to work really hard not to be scared. I still don't like loud noise or sudden movements, so I run and hide when that happens. But I'm happy when foster mom sits and pets me and plays with me. She says I'm doing really well now, and I am ready for my forever family.I love playing with my sister, Naan, and I really hope we can stay together. My sister is snuggly. I'm still learning that part, and I'm pretty sure I can get there with the help of a human who is patient with a shy boy. I hope I can keep learning and be the cool cat I was born to be.** From foster mom: Nick likes playing with plastic springs and chasing strings. He is very fond of 'Bursts' cat treats and will come when he hears them shake in the bottle. He is most comfortabe if you are sitting with him, rather than standing.Pumpernickel and his sisters were brought into PRBJ when a lady found them in a salvage yard. These sweet little kittens are playful and full of energy.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2024, 4:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Thackery Binx was surrendered to PRBJ when his family moved and were unable to bring him. He was then adopted, but returned again after his owner passed away. He went into a foster home to let him settle, and below is what his foster has said about him...Everyone who has met him likes him, he's behaved well, he does normal cat things. He's eating well and uses the litter box. When he needs a calm place or gets anxious, he prefers to go under the bed. Binx loves to sleep in the bathroom sink! He is friendly and affectionate and will play whenever he is approached to play.  He will grab at brushes and combs, so we recommend no young children. As he is independent, we recommend him as the only cat. Foster Update 2/1/24:Thackery Binx is a magnificent cat! He is a fabulous companion and wants to be with you, yet he does not require a lot of attention, just your presence. He appears calm, steadfast, and is great company...And then there is Binx at play! He loves, just loves vigorous and exciting play. His favorite is a fishing rod toy whipping around for him to chase. He is fast, agile and strong. Binx is well mannered-he stays off kitchen counters and does not pester anyone eating. He is intelligent and learns quickly. Binx is friendly and affectionate, yet only wants to be in your lap for a couple of minutes. He enjoys petting, then will jump down and remain happily in your presence. He loves to lay on his back but does not like his belly touched. He will grab at brushes/combs, or your hand and 'play bite' so he is not a good match for children. Binx is looking for for someone to enjoy his 'trill' of greeting and share his days for his lifetime. Could that be you? Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2024, 4:16 pm
