Story
Elijah Blue was living under a shed in my driveway. I was able to use a live trap to contain him and let him in my house. He was super friendly and loving once released and adjusted to being inside the home. I have had him neutered and up to date on shots, worming, etc. He is young, maybe closing in on a year old. I totally intended to provide him a loving home but, he is not adjusting well to my spayed female cat who has been with me for two years. He is causing her great distress. It is with great disappointment that I feel the urgency to rehome Eli. He seems okay with my dogs but needs supervision. He should be the only cat in the home and gently introduced to calm dogs that are used to having a cat around.

Story
Duff is a very affectionate cat, but does take a while to warm up to new people. He is absolutely nonaggressive. I don’t recall hearing him hiss since he was a kitten. He is not a lap kitty, but is a lay right beside you kitty that will let you pet him as long as you are willing.

Story
Effie was adopted from an acquaintance, along with an entire outdoor litter they didn’t know what to do with. Her brothers & sisters were all adopted out years ago after some fostering & Effie was the one who stayed. She has been good living with one other female cat (who passed in 2023), but she’s had a lot of difficulty getting along with the two younger male cats in our home. It’s been years & her behavioral issues & changes have left us at the decision to look for a new home for her. She is an extremely sweet, & still a very playful girl. She loves to fetch toys and will return them for playtime. She is vocal & chatty, & she really loves cuddling nearby, taking as many naps as she can. She has been to the vets office multiple times, & also seen a specialist. All have determined that she has anxiety from the way the males are just too playful with her & always aggravating her. Litter boxes are a very territorial thing for her, so she needs a home where she is the only cat- no dogs.

Story
Air Raid Siren is a forever kitty. She was a child mother so her growth was stunted. She was mostly an outdoor cat but does well inside. She is very quiet unlike her name and is a sweet little girl. I would not recommend her for an apartment though (which is why we cannot keep her long term) because she really needs space to roam, especially an outdoor area. We have until Wednesday to decide if she has to go to the shelter.

Story
Meet Copper. She is about one and a half years old. I adopted her from the humane society when she was about 3-4 months old, a very tiny kitten. She was abandoned, was a very sick little kitten. She has Feline Herpes, which simply means she has pretty recurring conjunctivitis, but this has never deterred her. She has some sight in her left eye, the gray matter is only scar tissue. Copper is a very healthy, rambunctious, curious little girl. She plays fetch with almost anything, and sleeps/cuddles with her ball. She is talkative, tells me about her day as soon as I get home. She is a cuddle bug, can pick her up/carry her. She is a puppy-kitten. Litterbox trained. She's good with other cats, and dogs if those dogs are good with cats. I am looking for a loving home who can give her the attention she needs and *deserves.* she is by far the best cat I've ever had, or have met. Please help us. She will do best with another cat or someone who will be home/provide companionship.

Story
Milo and cookie are 5 and came from separate litters but have been together since they were kittens. Cookie is a female, she is very timid and shy but loved to cuddle under the blankets with you. Cookie will run at the sound of a pen drop, but will poke her head out to see what the sound was. Cookie loves affection and safety. Milo is super sweet, especially when he’s hungry (which seems to be all the time). Milo reminds us of grafield, he will eat anything you give him. Milo is funny and will swat at your feet from under the bed as you walk by to play. Milo keeps to himself for the most part, but will cuddle if he sees a cozy spot next to you. I would prefer to keep them housed together since they have always been together. They are both litter box trained and spayed and neutered.
