Story
We have being fostering the mama cat and her kitten's. We have rehomed everyone but Cash. He is a sweet and playful 3.5 month old kitten. He is one of our favorites because he is very curious and affectionate. We are looking to rehome him as soon as possible as the place we have been keeping them indoors will soon be renovated and can't remain a kitten nursery. They have been indoors since we found them and he is litter trained. I have also taken care of the expense of neuter and microchip in hopes of finding a good home for him as soon as possible.

Story
We have had Jinx since she was about six months old. When I got remarried, my husband found that he has allergies to cat dander. We have managed to hold onto her all this time because my husband's symptoms were just mild congestion; but he is definitely getting worse so we feel it best to let her go. Jinx is very gentle and loving. She is about 14 yrs old so she is not active. She does not like to be picked up and will try to get down, but she will lay on the lap for a little bit and likes her head and neck scratched. She is very docile and tends to run from aggression rather than fight. She has been strictly an in-door cat. The only problem I have ever had with Jinx is that she gets matted pretty bad. She does not like to be groomed, so we have to take her to an animal hospital to be anesthetized for grooming; they will shave her down and then she's good for about 18 months - 2 yrs. It breaks my heart to let her go but we are praying she will go to a home where she is loved.

Story
Currently located in: Winterport, ME! Adoptable in: ANYWHERE! (Transport available to most places!) Good with dogs: eh, they may be ok with well mannered dogs but are not used to them at all! Good with cats: They are ok with other cats but prefer to be alone or with each other, as always a proper slow introduction will be required as with any other kitties being introduced to a home. Please refer to https://www.jacksongalaxy.com/blog/the-dos-and-donts-of-introducing-cats/ Good with kids: Yes! Litter box trained: Yes! House trained: Yes! Meet Olive & Pickles Olive (female, 2-3 years old, long fur grey) and Pickles (female, 2-3 years old, tabby) were surrendered to Whiskers Fund because their owners living situation had changed and she was unable to care for them any longer. These two girls have been together for a while now but are not super bonded. We would like to keep them together as a pair since they do keep each other company, but also don't expect that they will be snuggled up together. Pickles is the tabby girl with big eyes! She is super sweet and loves to rub on your legs and demands attention! Olive chirps to let you know she is ready and available for all your love! Both girls enjoy snuggles but do take a little time to warm up, but not long! Olive & Pickles think temptations treats are THE BEST EVER and will get very excited when they hear the jar shake with the yummies they know are forthcoming! These girls will melt your heart! Pickles and Olive love toys! Pickles loves the little catnip mice best while Olive loves anything as long as it involves catnip! Pickles loves plush blankets and climbing up high on her cat tree while Olive likes to get comfy on squishy comfy beds! If you think you are the right home for them, please apply to adopt them here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScq8ShXPVGLfrGHlIYMk0plgI_PJxOEMdr8QItpQMXYCnluvg/viewform All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their furever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped! The adoption fee is $550 for the pair! We do not accept deposits or the adoption fee until you have your new fur-members. Please Note: All animals are posted until they are officially adopted. This animal may have other interested adopters in line. Please apply quickly if you are interested. We are very quick to respond and process applications! You will be required to provide 2 non family personal references, a home video tour and a vet reference if you’ve previously had animals. Please feel free to send video to our email or facebook upon submitting an application, this lets us know you are serious and ready but also helps us to get you approved quickly. We will text and or call upon receiving your application to schedule a phone interview. You must be an approved adopter in order to go on meet and greets. This saves everyone’s time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose. Interested in fostering? We would love to have you join our family! Fill out the same application above- we have our fosters go through the same process as adopters! Questions? Please email whiskersfunds@gmail.com or message us on facebook! Story
Currently located in: York, ME! Adoptable in: ANYWHERE! (Transport available to most places!) Good with dogs: yes, they are good with curious dogs as long as they do not chase them Good with cats: Yes, as always a proper slow introduction will be required as with any other kitties being introduced to a home. Please refer to https://www.jacksongalaxy.com/blog/the-dos-and-donts-of-introducing-cats/ Good with kids: Yes, we think older kids may be better as these two are very scared and timid! Litter box trained: Yes! House trained: Yes! Meet Willow & Oz! Willow & Oz were found abandoned with their family. There was a mom, 2 neonatal babies, a dad, an uncle and 3 kittens. We believe Willow & Oz are a bonded Father/Daughter duo. They all were just left behind in an apartment after the tenants were evicted. They had no access to food or water, had to live in their own waste and clearly they were abused. Willow & Oz are learning how to trust humans again. They are very timid and afraid, but slowly starting to come around. Willow is a bit more brave than her dad, but not very much! They both very much enjoy temptations treats! This father/daughter duo are often found huddled together for comfort. They really rely on each other and are pretty much glued together always! Willow & Oz are going to need time, patiences and an adoptive family willing to give them the time to trust and love again. We estimate that Willow is about 5 months old and Oz is probably around a year old. They surprisingly are house trained and are completely adorable! You can pet them, but they are not excited about being held just yet.
