From a litter of nine, Willa really just enjoys hanging out in her window seat or on the top of the kitty climber. She is a bit shy at first but once this girl knows she can trust you she is all purrs. Winona is part of the litter of 9 and she is the most reserved but still very sweet. This whole group of kittens is very unusually marked and they have some of the most mellow demeanor with Winona being the most calm of them all. She loves to be petted but she is very content to curl up in her spot on the kitty climber that sits by the window of their room. We rarely see her playing with toys and she is very happy when one of her siblings decides to come join her for a cuddle. When you go to pet her she will raise her head for a scratch and give a soft purr of joy but she doesn't get up or try to make you stay she will just curl back up for another nap. If you would like a very low maintenance kitten to lounge around the house Winona might be your girl. She will likely never make a mess and is more than likely respectful of your space but also more than happy to receive your affection. ***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Wendal has been with us since he was a kitten in 2016. His sister Wendy was adopted but because Wendal comes off as shy at first he just hasn't been chosen. However, to the volunteers he sees on a regular basis he is very charming and charismatic and is always one of them in the group that is 'helping to scoop litter boxes' as their rouse to get some pets and scratches. Wendal would do fine in a home with other calm cats as he gets along well with the other cats in his room, & is happy just chillin in a window, on a shelf, or out on the catio. He'd be good as an only cat or with a calm kitty companion (or two or more) All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative (unless noted), microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Wilson!!!! What a card this dashing boy can be. He comes from a litter of 9 black and white siblings and he is easily the most adventuresome. While the others are mellow and laid back content to nap and snuggle, Wilson is out and about trying to find ways to entertain himself. When we think it is time for him to go back to his room for a snack he likes to play 'catch me if you can!' but when you do he is certainly happy for the snuggles that he gets while you carry him and he will give you sweet kisses knowing that he will soon escape again to find new and exciting adventures....it may just be the laundry room to us but to Wilson it is a world of unknown corners to explore!
