Story

Meet my friend Luci! He's 10-years old and in need of a special forever home. He's up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and ready to settle down and never be bounced around again. Luci came to the shelter after his owner got sick. He struggled with fear and defensiveness and didn't do well. My coworker worked really hard to socialize him, helping him trust strangers more. While he still needs LOTS of patience in new environments, Luci has shown immense progress! He gets along great with cat-friendly dogs and has lived peacefully with a bird. Though we haven't introduced him to my cats yet, initial signs are positive! He came to the shelter with a big wound on his neck that is healing really well. Luci loves playing with wand toys, he's got a playful spirit despite his age. He comes with ALL his essentials, including a scratching post, and can be transported out of town for the right home!!
