Story
My name is Addie and I have been here since July when my owner surrendered me. I am very shy and am not comfortable in this environment, so am not going to come out looking for attention when you come to visit. I am a very beautiful girl with cross eyes, but after all I am a Siamese mix. I need to leave the shelter and go to a quiet home, where I do not feel threatened and can peacefully lay in the sun. If you have a home like that, please consider me.As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.

Story
Bob and Mila are littermates who were rescued at 6 weeks of age (estimated). They are very strongly bonded, described by their foster as inseparable partners in crime. They are the most frightened of the Qatar group and must stay together. They very much depend on each other. Their rescuer says that it would “break their hearts to be apart”. Their rescuer is available for any questions and would love to know they are safe.As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.

Story
Mokie came to Wise County Humane Society from a hoarding situation. This is an extremely sad and depressing situation. Her owner allowed his cats to reproduce till he was overwhelmed. He did not provide medical care for any of the cats. Even if the cat was sick or injured. No treatment for fleas or worms. His residents was condemned and he was provided a clean, comfortable place to live so he moved away and left about 35 cats living in a dirty, trash filled trailer which was covered in feces. After the cats had been left for a week with no food, he notified a couple of people who contacted Wise County Humane Society. With the help of the people who were notified we have and are helping these sweet cats. Mokie loves to be petted. She gets along well with other cats. She is litter box trained and up to date on her shots. Loves wet cat food.As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.

Story
Mitch is a small, sweet male cat who likes to be petted but is very timid. He came from the hoarding situation that several of our fosters came from. When Wise County Humane Society (WCHS) was told of these cats' sad situation we have tried really hard to help them. We have taken several of them out of the terrible living conditions which they were left in. Their owner left them in a residence in deplorable condition. None of the cats have had any vet care. Some have eye problems. Some will not let you touch them. Mitch is timid but he does seem to like it when you pet him. He is litter box trained. Really likes wet cat food but eats dry cat food well. He deserves attention and the care all animals should have.As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.
