COURTEST POST! Are you looking for a low-key, very affectionate cat that can easy fold in with the other pets in your house, to be your fur baby? Athena is the cat for you! She was abandoned, but found a caring household in North Omaha who fed her, and noticed she was very thin, and really friendly. After a Vet visit, she received some well-deserved TLC, food and medicine and is now a healthy and happy girl. She loves being around people and asks for pets and brushings whenever she can. With a proper introduction she gets along with other cats, and even dogs, so she could be a good addition to a pet household. She’s spayed, microchipped and all vaccinations are up to date. She’s rather small so being a lap cat is easy! All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
