Story
Meet Damon: A Shy but Sweet 1-Year-Old Cat Looking for a Quiet, Understanding HomeDamon is a gentle and reserved 1-year-old cat who has come a long way since being rescued from a feral life. While he`s still quite shy and scared of humans, Damon has made significant progress in learning to trust and feel safe. He is now looking for a patient, adult-only home where he can continue to grow at his own pace. Damon currently resides with Drusilla, another cat who helps him feel secure, so he would do best in a home with another calm feline companion who can provide him with the support he needs.Personality:Affection Level: Damon is very shy and timid but has the potential to become affectionate once he builds trust. He may take time to warm up to you, but with patience and understanding, Damon will show his gentle side and form a bond with his new family.Energy Level: Damon has a low to moderate energy level. He enjoys his quiet space, observing the world from a safe distance. While he’s not overly active, he loves to play with toys and will occasionally get a burst of energy when he`s feeling comfortable.Likes: Damon enjoys the company of other calm cats, like Drusilla, as it helps him feel secure. He’s also a fan of exploring his surroundings slowly when he feels safe. Damon especially loves lick tubes and will happily indulge in them when offered.Dislikes: Damon is easily startled by sudden movements, loud noises, or feeling rushed. He thrives in a peaceful, low-stress environment where he can feel safe. It’s important for his new home to be a calm and quiet place to help him feel secure and comfortable.Perfect Home: Damon would thrive in an adult-only home, ideally with no children. He needs an environment that is calm, quiet, and respectful of his shy nature. It’s crucial that his new family is patient and willing to give him the time and space to adjust at his own pace. A home with another gentle cat would be ideal, as having a feline companion like Drusilla helps him feel more comfortable and secure.Behavior with Kids: Damon is not comfortable around children and would do best in a home without them. He needs a calm, peaceful environment where he can feel safe and unhurried. An adult-only home is essential for Damon to thrive.Behavior with Other Pets: Damon currently lives with Drusilla and enjoys her company. He would do well in a home with another calm, patient cat who can help him

Story
Say hello to Aang! This sweet 2-year-old guy may be a bit shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, his true personality shines. Aang came to us looking for a loving home where he can enjoy some quiet time and a bit of adventure. He’s a laid-back boy who gets along well with other cats and loves his wet food! With some patience and a slow introduction, Aang will quickly become your affectionate and loyal companion. We always recommend a slow introduction to any other pets in the home. A slow introduction means giving Aang and any other animals in the house time to adjust to each other’s presence. Start by letting them get used to each other’s scent by keeping them in separate rooms. Then, when everyone is ready, you can begin with brief, supervised face-to-face meetings. Always let Aang approach at his own pace, allowing him to feel safe and secure. This gradual process helps everyone feel comfortable and reduces stress.Personality:Affection Level: Aang might be a little shy at first, but he really enjoys quality time with his humans. He’ll come around once he feels at ease and will be sure to purr and show affection when he’s comfortable. Patience and gentle attention will help him bloom into a sweet companion.Energy Level: Aang is on the quieter side, so he enjoys mellow play sessions with his favorite toys, followed by lounging in his cozy spots. He’s not the most energetic, but he enjoys the occasional bit of fun when he’s in the mood. If you’re looking for a calm and laid-back cat, Aang is the one for you!Likes: Aang is all about wet food! He’s highly food-motivated, and meal time is always a highlight of his day. He also enjoys his toys and will bat at them gently, especially when he feels comfortable. Above all, he loves to curl up for some one-on-one time with his human once he feels safe.Dislikes: Aang can be a little hesitant with new situations, so he needs some time to adjust. He’s not a fan of being rushed into anything, especially when it comes to meeting new animals or changing environments. A calm, slow approach will help him feel more secure.Perfect Home: Aang would thrive in a home where he has a little time to settle in at his own pace. He’s looking for a quiet, loving space where he can enjoy both human company and other cats. If you’re patient and can offer him a gentle introduction to new pets, Aang will surely become a cherished part of your family.Behavior with Kids:

Meet Drusilla, a Shy but Sweet 5-Year-Old Kitty Looking for a Quiet, Loving HomeDrusilla is a beautiful 5-year-old cat who has come a long way since being rescued from a completely feral life. While she’s still a bit shy and cautious in new environments, Drusilla has made incredible progress and is ready to find a calm, patient home where she can continue to thrive. She’s currently living with another cat, Damon, and enjoys his company, so she would do well in a home with another gentle feline friend who can help her feel secure.Personality:Affection Level: Very shy and reserved, but when she’s comfortable, Drusilla shows her sweet, gentle natureEnergy Level: Low to moderate—she enjoys quiet time and slowly exploring her surroundingsLikes: Spending time with her feline companion Damon, peaceful environments, and quiet momentsDislikes: Sudden movements, loud noises, and feeling rushed—she needs a calm and patient environment to feel safePerfect Home: Drusilla would do best in a quiet, adult-only home where she can have time to adjust at her own pace. A calm, low-stress household is ideal, especially one with another cat to keep her company and help her feel more comfortable.Behavior with Kids: Drusilla is not comfortable around children and would do best in a home without them. She needs a peaceful, quiet space where she can feel safe and secure as she continues to adjust to life indoors.Behavior with Other Pets: Drusilla is currently living with another cat, Damon, and seems to enjoy his company. She may do well with other gentle, calm cats, but given her shy nature, she would need slow introductions to any new animals in her home. Drusilla has not been tested with dogs, and due to her fearful nature, we would recommend a dog-free home for her.Ideal Home:Drusilla is looking for a calm, patient household where she can continue to build trust and feel safe. A quiet, adult-only home or one with older, cat-savvy children would be best for her. She would love to have a feline companion to help her feel more secure, and she’ll need a home that understands her need for time and space to adjust. Why Drusilla? If you’re someone who understands that patience and gentleness are key when it comes to helping a shy cat like Drusilla come out of her shell, she may be the perfect companion for you. Story
Meet Zap! Zap is part of a large group of cats called ‘the electricians.’ The electricians came from a tough living situation and have been waiting patiently for their chance to find furever homes. They can be very shy and reserved with new people but are very sweet cats once they trust you. They will need patience and understanding while they adjust to their furever homes. Due to their past, the electricians MUST be adopted to homes as pairs OR to a home with another outgoing feline friend. The electricians must remain on a probiotic for life and rely heavily on wet food. Staff is more than happy to talk with potential adopters about their medical needs as well as go into more detail about their past during a meet and greet. Zap is a shy girl looking for an adult only home. She enjoys head pets once she knows you. She loves to curl up in a cozy bed or on top of a cat tree. Zaps favourite toy is a fun ball tower and a cardboard scratcher.
