Story
Hot Lips is a cute short haired classic gray tabby female about 3 years old (DOB about 3/22/21).  She is a super-socialized, fun-loving crew.  Watch the video and look how much fun they are having at our recent adoption fair.   She LOVES everyone as soon as she meets them.  She is VERY playful and active.  She loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored.  She gets along well with other cats, and we think she'd be great with dogs and kids.  She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had all distemper and the rabies vaccines, been wormed, had revolution for fleas, and been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped. If interested in these cutie pies, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. The majority of our cats and kittens come from high kill shelters. Through our application and interview process, we strive to make the 'purrfect' match to insure a loving, lifelong home for those in our care. We do NOT receive funding from any national organization, federal or state governments.November 3, 2024, 5:50 pm

Story
Pop Tart is a cute short haired gray tabby and white male kitten about 10 months old (DOB about 2/14/24).  Pop Tart is very laid back and gentle.  He LOVES everyone as soon as he meets them.  He is VERY playful and active.  He loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored.  He likes to be held and to snuggle.  He lives in a foster home with cats and dogs and would be great with kids.  He's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had all three distemper and the rabies vaccines, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and neutered. Preference will be given to adopters who have a young playmate/companion for the kitten, as we do not think he will do well as a solo pet. If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net    We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Milan is a cute, short haired dark gray tabby female kitten about 9-10 months old (DOB about 3/15/24).  She is one of 11 kittens taking from a house with multiple unspayed females allowed to go in and out.  All of the kittens were taken into foster care, and all of the females spayed.  She LOVES everyone as soon as she meets them.  Milan is a wonderful kitten, fascinated by everything going on around him, afraid of nothing she has encountered. She's a purring charmer hoping to find her forever home where she can get the love and attention she wants.  Shis VERY playful and active.  She loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored.  She gets along well with other cats, and we think she'd be great with dogs and kids.  She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, had all three distemper and the rabies vaccines, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, been vet checked, microchipped, and spayed.  Preference will be given to adopters who have a young playmate/companion for the kitten.  We typically do not adopt kittens less than 6 months old to homes where they will be a solo pet.   If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net.   We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Quartz is a sweet short-haired dilute Torti about 2-3 years old.  She’s very affection and likes to be hugged and cuddled.  She gets along great with dogs.  Although she lives with other cats, she doesn't get along well with them.  She loves kittens, however.  We think she’d be great with kids, too.  She is current on her distemper and rabies vaccines, been vet checked, wormed, is negative for Felv/FIV and had advantage for fleas.  If interested in Quartz, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net. We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. Story
Meet Gabby and Misty, two short-haired all black female littermates needing a home together.  Pawster, a non-profit organization, takes in animals from families or individuals experiencing a temporary crisis.  Most cats are able to go back to the original owners.  Sadly, though no fault of their own, Gabby and Misty, cannot return to the original owners.  They are both 5 years old, spayed, microchipped, healthy, current on the distemper and rabies vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.  Both ladies are very sweet.  Misty is a little more shy than Gabby. Both kitties do well with other cats in the home. It is unknown how they will do with dogs, but we think they would do well with a proper introduction.  Would you be interested in taking these sweethearts home? To apply, please complete the foster application at pawsternashville.org/foster for a 1-week trial period. After 1 week of fostering you will be able to adopt for a total adoption fee of $80 for both pets. Pawster is willing to transport both cats to Knoxville, if interested. Story
Piper and Pixie are gorgeous black and white female cats about 8-9 months old (DOB about 2/8/24).  They are bonded sisters who came from a situation where animal control had stepped in. They weren't what you might expect from a situation like that.  They were in great physical shape (other than Pixie having flea bite scabs) and ultra friendly. Piper (front) is a bit bigger than Pixie, but we believe them to be littermates.  Piper has more black, while Pixie has more white.  Piper has a short tail, about three inches long.  Don’t they make a pretty pair?  They are so confident and outgoing that we suspect they would get along with cats, dogs, and kids.  They LOVE everyone as soon as they meet them.  They are VERY playful and active.  They love to play with toys or and are never bored.  They like to be held and to snuggle.  They are negative for feline leukemia and aids, current on their distemper and rabies vaccines, been wormed, treated for fleas, and been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped.   Preference will be given to adopters willing to adopt them as a pair.  If interested in these cutie pies, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or hhfrey1@tds.net  We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens.
