Story
Cat Ballou here reporting for The SARG Times. I’m interviewing Walker, a very special SARG kitty. Cat: Walker, tell us about yourself. Walker: I’m an orange tabby, bobtail boy, and I’ve probably got a Manx cat for an ancestor somewhere. I’m the perfect weight for my big bones, topping the scale at 16 pounds. When I went in for my vaccines, the vet tech wanted to know if I was a cat or a mountain lion. I’m shy, but once we are friends, I want all the pets! Cat: What is your career aspiration?        Walker: I’ve always wanted to be a Texas Ranger. Can’t you just see me with a white cowboy hat on my head? Cat: What is your favorite quote? Walker: A true friend is a friend for life. Cat: Do you have any hobbies? Walker: I love taking naps, and then watching the birbs and skwerls from the screen porch at my foster home. They are so sassy, because they know I can’t get out! Cat: Would you consider yourself a lap cat? Walker: I’m a polite, gentleman cat who doesn’t require a lap. I love to be beside you, and if you stretch out on a recliner or a sofa, I love to lay across your legs. Cat: Any final words? Walker: Are you looking for a handsome, 2-year-old fella? That’s me. Give me a chance, and I’m sure you’ll be my favorite person, and I’ll be your favorite cat. Story
Crafty & Kea are now available as a BONDED PAIR! Because they have done so well together in their foster home, the adoption fee for one of them is being sponsored! This means that an approved applicant will get a reduced adoption fee of $110 for BOTH of these amazing kitties! It's important to note that both of these kitties have had to work through a lot of challenges in their young lives. They are flourishing in a home setting, but will need a calm environment with a family who is patient, kind, understanding, and willing to give them time to adjust to a new place. Their foster home also recommends a home with no small children or dogs to aid in a successful long-term match. Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 4 Age: 1yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Kea is beginning to relax and warm up to her foster environment. Kea LOVES cats!!! She instantly responds when she has the chance to interact. She chirps and slow blinks and follows all their cues beautifully. She also LOVES feather wands! She loves pets and chin scratches when approached slowly and you pay attention to her cues when she's done. Churus make her happy! Kea is going to make such a great companion for the right, patient and understanding family. She will take time to acclimate and will require a safe place to retreat where she knows she won't be bothered. We also believe having another cat friend is going to be essential in her development and will encourage her to be brave and explore her home. Kea is young, 10-12 months old. My adoption fee is $110 and includes; Spay/Neuter, MICROCHIPPED, FVRCP & Rabies Vaccinations, Tested for FIV/Felv, Deworming and Flea Treatment if needed.  If you have any questions please call or text message Nikki at 516-849-2594. Story
See Courtesy Posting Disclaimer *Sweet Tart is a 4-month-old male neutered orange tabby that is growing like a weed! He is littermate to Skittles and half brother to Thin Mint. He came indoors in November from an outdoor feral litter. He is the most shy of his litter. Once he is picked up, he is fine with petting and being held, but is more apt to hide if startled. He loves to play with his roommates and will do best in a quiet house with other cats. He can be adopted with a littermate as well. Within the next week, Sweet Tart will be fully vaccinated as an indoor cat. He is already neutered, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and up to date on flea/heartworm prevention. Please email critterdoc09@gmail.com for more information. [Posted 1/12/2024]*Please be aware that this animal is a courtesy posting for the owner ONLY.
