Story
*BRUCE IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER*Meet Bruce!Recently returned (through no fault of his own), Bruce is a rather sad-looking fellow with his big jowls and little ears. Quite timid, he spends most of his time squished into the back of his Hide and Perch, or snoozing away in his bed. Bruce isn't unfriendly, though, just a little shy. Sit and pat him for a while; you'll find he's an excellent stress-reliever! He may not show it as openly as other cats, but Bruce can be just as affectionate in his own quiet way. If you're looking for a gentle companion who'll listen to all your rants and woes, send in an application and our cat team will review it shortly. Bruce's forever home should be relaxed and quiet with lots of cozy nooks for him to nap in. Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Bruce's person? Apply today! Friendly tip: If you're looking for a surefire way to make your application to stand out, consider telling us a little bit about yourself in the "anything else you'd like us to know?" section! What brought you to adopt? Have you had any previous pets? What makes you the perfect match for this animal? Meet Anise! (previously named Little Girl)Anise came to us grieving after he original owner passed away. She is quite wary of new people, but has shown that she can and will warm up to people she trusts and accept pets and play. Staff and volunteers are succeeding in gaining the trust of sweet Anise. We're certain that, with a little patience and a lot of love, Anise will quickly grow to love whoever her future owner may be. It's best she go to a quiet home free of dogs, children, and other cats. Story
Meet curious, little Bamboo!Bamboo may be a tad shy when meeting new folks, but is quite the restless, playful kitty. She tends to get the zoomies and be her most active at night, so is looking for a forever home that can keep up with her boundless energy! Bamboo has proven to be very friendly to staff and volunteers, and is feeling more confident in the shelter environment. She is quite cuddly after unwinding from playtime. Bamboo adores being out in our catio and we're sure she'd appreciate having supervised, on-leash outdoor time. It is important to note that, due to her history, she must be the only cat in the household. Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Bamboo's person? Story
Meet Maizie!Maizie is a friendly and beautiful russian blue. She loves being pet and cuddling. In a new environment or when meeting new people she may be prone to hide. For people she is familiar with she will happily approach and rub against your hands and legs. She is playful for her age but still has the energy of a senior cat. She is okay with older kids who respect her boundaries when she's had enough play or cuddles. She could potentially live with other cats or dogs but would need a slow introduction.Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Maizie's person? Story
Meet Summer (mother of the "Deli Squad")!When Summer came into our care she was heavily pregnant and very scared. She ended up giving birth shortly after intake in a foster home and wanted nothing to do with people, just tended to her little ones. Now that they are all grown up, she has come out of her shell and is described as "aggressively affectionate" but can get overstimulated and swat at times while her brain decides if she likes it or not.Summer's ideal home would be indoor only with no small children, with a patient guardian that understands that sometimes she just needs space and she will be affectionate on her own terms. She may be okay with a calm dog in her new home, as well as another cat but will need time to adjust as with meeting any new friends in a new place! We are certain she will blossom once separated from her babies in a calm environment where she can relax and just be herself.Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Summer's person?
