Story
Meet Maggie! Maggie is a 2-year-old, 56 lb Catahoula mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. She’s high-energy and thrives on daily exercise, making a fenced yard ideal. Once she’s had her fun, she settles down beautifully for cuddle time. Why You'll Love Maggie: Super affectionate and loves to snuggle, Smart, eager to learn, and motivated by food and praise, Loves people and considers everyone a friend, Great in the car and enjoys adventures,Friendly with other dogs after proper introductions. Things to Work On: Needs guidance with leash pulling and jumping when excited, Occasionally counter surfs, so food shouldn’t be left unattended, Can be reactive to some dogs on leash but improves with introductions, Not suited for a home with cats. Maggie’s perfect home is an active one, ready to give her love, training, and plenty of playtime. If you're looking for a sweet, energetic companion who will keep you laughing and cuddling, Maggie is your girl!   If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home.  Hope to see you soon!  https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Thanks for considering adoption! *Information deemed reliable, but not guarenteed* ##2278480##

Hi-My name is Rowdy. I LIKE: to run and play but I love toys. The volunteers say Kong toys are best for me. What`s a Kong? I also like to chase squirrels, birds and play with the water hose. I KNOW: I need to work on my leash skills but I`m a smart boy and want to please. If you teach me, I will try very hard to learn quickly. I know the commands Sit and Paw and politely accept treats.IF YOU`RE LOOKING FOR: an adventure buddy, I`m ready. Let`s go! I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: I`m an entertainer and will put a smile on your face everyday.***Due to my energy level and size, I would not be a good fit for a home with little kids. Older kids and teens would be great!***

If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Peaches: Sweet as Pie and Full of Love   Peaches has overcome incredible odds to get where she is today. Neglected and tied to a tree with no food, water, or shelter, she was moments away from being abandoned when a Heidi’s Legacy volunteer stepped in to save her. At 4 years old and 51 pounds, Peaches is now safe and thriving in her foster home—but she still needs your help.   Peaches has a permanent reminder of her rough past. She was heartworm positive for so long before rescue that it caused irreversible damage to her lungs. While she’s now heartworm-free, she needs daily medications to keep her healthy and comfortable. These medications, along with her food and ongoing care, come at a cost, and we’re looking for sponsors to help support her.   Her foster family absolutely adores her and would love to keep her forever. With your sponsorship, we can make that dream a reality for Peaches and the people who’ve given her a second chance at life.   Peaches is a sweet, playful girl with a soft spot for toys—she’ll happily chase, chew, and snuggle them to her heart’s content. She’s house-trained, crate-loving, and a total wiggle-butt when her people come home. A fenced yard or screened porch is her happy place, where she can bask in the sun and soak up the fresh air.   Peaches needs an experienced, dog-savvy handler who understands her boundaries. She prefers to be the only pet (no cats or kids, please!) and thrives in a calm, structured environment.   Your sponsorship could change Peaches’ life and ensure she stays safe, healthy, and loved in the home she’s come to know as her own.   Preferred Methods of Donations   PayPal: @heidislegacy   Venmo: @HLDR2002   Zelle: Heidi’s Legacy   Website: heidislegacydogrescue.com/donate   The email associated with these accounts is info@heidislegacydogrescue.com     Could you be the hero Peaches has been waiting for? Story
Hello I’m Apollo! I love to run and play. I can run and run and run some more! I need a parent who is very active or has a big yard with other pets to keep me company! I really don’t like being alone it’s gives me anxiety. I need lots of positive reinforcement and someone who will give me enriching activities. Unfortunately my current parent doesn’t have the time they know I deserve so we’ve been talking about rehoming for a while. We’ve tried to make it work different ways but I’m just a very active pup. I’m 2 years old and have so much excitement and curiosity to share with other dogs and humans. I just need someone who has the time an lifestyle that will help grown into the smart and happy pup I’m meant to be.
