Hi, I’m Riya! I’m a five-year-old Pomeranian with a fluffy white coat and a big personality packed into my tiny frame. Weighing 4.65kg (10.2lb), I’m full of love, energy, and charm. I adore people, enjoy making new friends, and love being the center of attention. Now, I’m looking for a forever home where I can be spoiled with love while continuing to learn good manners.
My Personality
I am incredibly affectionate and love meeting new people. Whether I’ve known you forever or we’ve just met, I’ll happily trot over, lean in for pets, and even roll over to show my belly. I enjoy being held and will gladly snuggle into your arms. I haven’t had much experience with young children, but since I love attention, I’d likely enjoy their company with proper introductions. I am a true lap dog and crave human companionship. I love being close to my people and can get anxious when left alone for too long, so I need a family who understands that I may need time and training to feel comfortable when separated.
Social Skills
I get along well with other dogs just as much as I do with people. I enjoy greeting other dogs and playing with them. However, when it comes to food, I prefer to eat alone. In a household with multiple dogs, it's best to feed me separately. I also get along very well with cats.
Energy and Activities
I have a moderate energy level—I love outdoor activities, but once I’ve had my fun, I’m happy to relax and rest. I enjoy my walks and like to explore, though I do pull on the leash sometimes when I’m excited. A little leash training will help me improve my walking manners. I have an impressive ability to jump, so my new home should have high gates or barriers to keep me safe.
Training and Habits
I enjoy both dry and wet food, as well as treats like chicken and sweet potatoes. I don’t have any allergies or restrictions when it comes to food, and I eat just about anything happily. When I'm with people, I'm mostly quiet and calm, with little to no barking. I love peaceful indoor living and am very content in a quiet home. Outside, I don’t bark at other dogs or cars, and I’m quite well-mannered. I have a curious nature and enjoy sniffing around, sometimes pulling a bit on the leash, but I always behave politely. If other dogs approach too quickly, I take a step back because I prefer peace and avoid conflict.
At home, I use pee pads, but I really enjoy going potty outside. Loud noises might startle me, but I recover quickly. I love lying on the couch with my people and enjoy resting together. My Ideal Home
I would thrive in a home where I receive plenty of attention and love. I’m happiest when I’m with my family all the time.
