URGENT! My vet asked for my help in rehoming this angel as her owner is in a comma and not expected to make it. I am pleading for someone to help by adopting or fostering this angel. I usually foster, but my house is undergoing major construction, and I cannot foster the dogs myself. 10 year old chihuahua. Lives with another dog. She seems very sweet. The dog lives in Rosarito, Mexico, but I can bring him to San Diego. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

I am helping my vet find homes for 2 dogs. Their owner is in poor health and not expected to live for much longer. I am unable to foster due to a large construction project taking place in my home at this time. I know that the dog is a 10 year who gets along with the other dog that lives in the home. Please help me find a foster or adopter. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

Story
Meet Minnie!  She was seen being tossed from a vehicle in a rural part of the county.  No one could find her and assumed her dead in an area thick with predators (owls, coyotes and cats of all sizes).  Days later she popped up, frightened and ran if anyone approached.  After reports of repeated sightings she was humanely trapped and her new life began.  No owner came claim to her so she went to foster where she decompressed and started to learn about love.  She was under a year old and clearly knew little of human touch or kindness.  After several months she learned to trust, walk on leash, bond and love.  Due to foster circumstances her time there had to terminate and she has continued her journey on site at the rescue facility.  After a year she tugs the heart strings of all volunteers with her sad dopey eyes, desperate need to love and be safe.  She loves her "normal".  She is always eager to go on her walks and does great with those she can trust.  She struggles with new people but is eager to please, treat motivated and warms up quickly if you go slow and let her lead.  She wants to snuggle.  Pillows are her favorite spot in bed.  She wants to be your shadow.  Despite her fear of people she is happy to go on adventures and enjoys her time in the company of those that make her feel safe.  She can be around dogs but does not share so can't live with other pets because she guards her stuff and people with animals (NOT people).  She has the little dog complex and no fear when taking on an animal challenge, which for sure is how she survived her time amidst the wilderness.  She continues to work on her world bravery with pack walks and outings but has done her time and is due for her home.  She has recurring cherry eye on both sides.  One has already been addressed surgically but came back.  Vet recommendation is to leave it alone if surgery did not cure and it presents no discomfort or irritation.  It comes and goes and does not bother her.  Vet's words were it looks worse to us than it feels to her.  Can you be patient, love unconditionally, have no expectations other than a deep soul connection?  If so, this girl is for you. Flight Risk: do not leave unattended in a yard, crate training is a must when you are gone, tight grip on the leash is a must on adventures. Must be aware of open doors and windows.  Can NEVER be offleash in unfenced areas for life.To adopt: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/37765/genericTo foster: https://petstablished.com/foster_form/37764/genericEmail: awayhomefordogs@gmail.com ##1318876##

Story
This shy little girl is the most excellent momma to her two sweet daughters! She takes a bit of time to warm up and feel comforatble with her fosters. She loves to play and cuddle once she is acclimated to your family's schedule end environment. ##2071528##
