Meet Greta, a female, 9 year and 10 month old Chihuahua mix. She weighs 19 pounds.Greta arrived at the shelter as a stray. She is a friendly girl who enjoys going for walks and relaxing on her bed.Greta will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how she will do with cats.Greta is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today.We are temporarily operating adoptions on Tuesday -- Friday 12pm - 4pm BY APPOINTMENT. Making an appointment is easy, and same day appointments are often available. Please visit the link in our bio to fill out an adoption application to schedule an appointment. Meet Margarita, a female, 13-year-old, Chihuahua and Dachshund Mix. She weighs 10 pounds.Margarita arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender due to them no longer being able to care for her. Her nickname is Chica. Margarita is in her retirement, and she loves to sunbath and lay around all day. She is a proper lady and is house trained. She has done well with cats in the past. Margarita would prefer being your only dog, but could live with another mellow dog who will be respectful of her space. She appreciates time to adapt to new places and would feel most comfortable in a quiet home with kids 8-and-up.Margarita will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. MEET JERSEY & JET! This bonded pair of Chihuahuas/Chiweenies need a foster or forever home! They were rescued from a crowded California shelter, and they are very bonded. Jet is a 1-year-old male and Jersey is a 6-year-old female (per the shelter paperwork). Jersey could be his mom. We would love to find a home for them together. They are loving, affectionate and amazing dogs who deserve the very best home together. They are currently still in California (just rescued), but can be transported to Oregon or Washington. They each weigh about 16 lbs. Please email for an application.

MEET MILO & OSCAR! These sweet 2-year-old bonded brothers need a foster or forever home! Milo & Oscar were rescued about a year ago from a California shelter, and they are now in Washington State. They were adopted but are losing their home due to unforeseen circumstances (no fault of their own), and we are currently looking for a foster or forever home for them. Both dogs are extremely affectionate and like to be on someone’s lap or to be petted or scratched. They’re both great with new people, and they love everyone. Milo & Oscar also follow commands such as sit, stay, and come. They’re very good about coming when called. Oscar, who is about 21 lbs., is a bit more athletic and will be the first to race outside and explore the yard. Milo, who is about 13 lbs., is more playful, loves to play with his toys (and sometimes destroys them), and is almost always the first to instigate playing with Oscar. They’re both very good about having their nails trimmed and getting brushed. Neither likes getting a bath too much, though! They are also crate-trained and they sleep close together at night. HI - I'M ARLO! I'm a loving and sweet Chihuahua mix in need of a forever home! I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. They labeled me at 10 years old but we think I'm more like 6 or 7, as I do not look very senior and have plenty of spunk. I do well with other dogs, especially females, though I could thrive as an only dog, too! I would love to be in a home with someone who can take me for walks and cuddle on the couch. I'm a really nice boy. I weigh about 13 lbs and am a nice size - not too big and not too small. Please email for an application.
