Meet Charming Gal - Mila!💖 Mila is 7 pounds, approximately seven -year-old female being fostered in Houston, Texas. Her Gorgeous soft dark brown eyes, gentle kisses, perky ears and charming personality will forever melt your heart and make you fall in love with her instantly. She really is something special!💖 Mila is the full package. She receives all the compliments in the world. She not only has a stunning look, she also has the sweetest most kind and loving personality. She is incredibly affectionate, intelligent, gentle, patient, intuitive, and a very trainable sweet girl. She loves everyone and everyone loves her. Mila is a love bug with a fun spirit and can build a great relationship with a furry friend, kids and adults. Her captivating appearance makes people stop to say hello and get to know her, as she is just a sweetheart. Mila loves to spend time with her human. She is a super calm gal, so she loves her adorable naps on the couch or her soft bed with warm fuzzy blankets. So if you need a nap she will support you 100% and will snuggle next to you. If you work at home she will be by your side keeping you company by simply napping. She loves watching tv so please make some room next to you and get some popcorn as you will get yourself a Netflix night date partner. As much as she can be calm, she is also very outdoorsy and adventurous. Despite her age, Mila is an athletic and adventures girl so if you love to go on mimi hikes or simply go for a walk around your neighbourhood then put some tennis shoes on and you got yourself a walking partner. Mila does very well on the leash. This sweet gal loves to go shopping and visit Starbucks once in a while. She is spoiled and loves special treatments and compliments from store employees always keeps her excited. Super food and treats motivated. She loves loves goodies. Lovely girl listens well and is well mannered. She is very photogenic and enjoys modeling in front of the camera. How can she not??!! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Chip is a lap dog who is energetic in short periods. He needs attention that we cannot provide with a new baby. He is not fixed and is about 2 years old. He will occasionally pee in the house since we've had the baby. However, when we provided him exercise and attention he needed he did not have the problem.
