You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hi everyone!  My name is Memo (pronounced Mee-Moe). I was found wandering the cold streets of Detroit and I really hope to find a nice comfortable home soon! I was really scared at first, but after a couple of days in my foster home, I was able to open up and start enjoying life. I have long legs, so I am really good at running. I love walks and exploring in the yard. I need slow introductions to other dogs and may be picky. I have ignored cats that I've met at adoption events but may like to chase. I am very sweet and affectionate, and I like to give kisses. I am vaccinated and neutered. I do have an issue with my eyes that will likely be lifelong. My eyes don't make tears so I will likely require eye drops lifelong, and several times a day. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. November 4, 2024, 7:53 am

Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Joey is new to us so we are just getting to know him. He is very friendly. He is good with my small dogs and just ignites my larger dog. He is housetrained, walks well on leash enjoying several short walks a day. Joey is definitely a lap dog. He will require vaccines and better prior to adoption so will be available in several weeks.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Story
💛🧸 ADOPT ME 🧸💛 Little PeeWee is all healed up and ready for a new home! Some may have not seen his previous posts. He was found severely injured in the middle of the night. He had 2 severe lacerations to his neck & throat. We are still unsure what caused the injuries, but are oh so thankful everything turned out well for him. Peewee is a tiny little dude, weighing in 10lbs. He’s approx 7-8 yrs old. We believe him to be a Chihuahua, as he’s pretty true to the breed. PeeWee stats - 🐻 Little guy appears social with other dogs, but does better with ones of his size & low energy level. He’s quite leary of big dogs & has not been introduced to cats as far as we know. 💛 PeeWee enjoys spending his days snuggling with his caregivers & playing with his toys. He appreciates the small things like nap time, being held, cuddling & couches. 🐻 PeeWee is a bit weary of men. We don’t know why. It could just be their stature or their tone, but he seems to buddy up to women quicker. Will only will place him with kids 12 & up. 💛 He’s a little shy and will need someone who can be gentle, soft-spoken & loving. We don’t know what kind of life he led before he was found, but we know he had an owner. He was somewhat chubby upon arrival. We think he was fed people food because he has snubbed a lot of the canine provisions we have offered. He has told us that his palate is more sophisticated than the average dog. If our handsome little guy sounds like the loving couch potato you would like in your life, you can apply for adoption two way, emailing us for an application or filling one out on our website- ⭐️ Canineliberationleague@gmail.com ⭐️ ⭐️ www.Canineliberationleague.com ⭐️ How our application process works - 1. Complete an application for adoption. 2. If your application is selected, we will call you. 3. After discussing the adoptable dog, you will need to provide veterinary history on previous pets to proceed to adoption. 4. Once vet check step is passed & completed, we will set up a meet & greet, so you can soend time with your potential rescue pup! 5. Adoption day is set up after meet & greet. PeeWee has all current vaccines including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto & Bordetella. He is neutered, microchipped, fecal & heartworm tested. He is also getting his teeth cleaned this week. 📍LOCATION - SOUTH LYON, MI 🐾 PLEASE SHARE to help find him a home!!!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This adorable little dude is Coke aka Sheldon.  He is a happy little guy that obviously loves the camera!  He also loves other dogs and would be happiest with a fur sibling. He is house trained    HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter .&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.LAP WARMER ALERT!! Lucy, and her sister, Pixie, had a loving home…and then their mom passed away.  Their world has been turned upside down.  None of her kids wanted them so they were going to be euthanized; how sad is that!   Lucy loves to be in your lap, loves bellie rubs, and giving kisses.  Lucy is such a sweetheart,  with lots of love to give. She just wants to be loved on, and have a cozy lap. She loves to curl up in her blanket like a little burrito.  &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143    Both dogs are spayed and microchipped. They are currentand on everything including a health check up.  They are pee-pad trained. They both need to stay on a healthy diet to help keep them at a good weight.  Do you have an open lap for one of the sweeties?   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption.
