Story
Bruno is a six-pound, two-year and six-month old Chihuahua mix. He is very cuddly and affectionate; he stares lovingly into your eyes while he sits in your lap. Bruno takes to women well but has a bad reaction to men. He is a good walker but barks at dogs and people. Ongoing training is a good idea. He does not like my cats but gets along with dogs. I`m not sure how he does with children, but since he is six pounds I would be cautious with children under eleven. In the home Bruno will bark at people coming to the door and outside noises to warn you. I don`t think he would be good in an apartment. Right now he should have access to a fenced yard until his training is further along. While Bruno appeared to be housetrained the first two fostered weeks, he has had a setback and is now being retrained.. To meet Bruno please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG He is fully vetted and adoption fee is $320.00.

Story
HI- I'M ROCKY CHI! I'm a 10-year-old sweet older gentleman in need of a forever home. I was rescued from a crowded California, along with two of my pals (Charlie & Brownie). My previous owner had to surrender me due to some hard times. Turns out, Charlie & Brownie are pretty bonded, but I'm an independent spirit, so am looking for a home all my own. I get along great with other dogs and love people. I'm a bit overweight but we're working on that. I'm currently in and out of the vet as the vet determines my condition - it's possible I came out of the shelter with pneumonia, but we should know very soon. But either way, I'm feeling great now and am looking forward to a happy life with my forever person or people. I weigh currently about 17 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M TUBBY! I'm a chubby Chihuahua-Retriever mix in need of a forever home. I have the face of a Chihuahua and the gentleness of a Golden Retriever. I'm sweet, quiet, dog friendly, easygoing - basically, I'm the perfect dog. I love everyone and I will make an awesome companion. I was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. My previous owner never showed up to claim me. I do need to go on a diet and that's a work in progress. I weigh about 30-35 lbs. I'm a gentle, loving, wonderful soul. Can you adopt me?
